While this long brutal street course is definatly on the bottom of my favorite track list. I was very impressed with the improvement from the original from GT1. I dont know if ya remember the chicane that you had to dive in and out of, I couldnt count the number of times that I hit those barriers. SO just something to talk about.

i actually quite like the original, but that chicane wasnt a prob once u got use to it:)

the one in gt3 is one of my most hated track

Yup, where is neon_duke? To say that he loathes the track would be a terrible understatement.

Personally, I'm fairly neutral... the chicane is a neat challenge to me, and reminds me of Monaco. *shrugs*

I don't remember SS R11 from GT1...it's been a while. It is a very challenging track in GT3 and you do have to be precise. With a good car (such as the ZZII;) ), and lots of practice, it becomes almost fun.

I like it!
r11 is a good test of reflexes and cornering ability.

seattle on the other hand sux the sweat off a dead dogs balls! :(

There is quite a sharp chicane at the end of SSR11 I, and at the beginning of SSR11 II...but I still like the track, it's quite a challenge...:D

I preferred the old course in GT1, where, as has been said, "emergency lane change" was the way it was done, but also then the slight left then right uphill, fantastic IMO

I remember the original SS Route 11 and that pesky chicane... if my memory serves me correctly, the chicane was immediately at the end of a high speed straight, and invariably one ended up in the wall?

I used to dislike the new version simply because it is tricky, but that is precisely the reason why I love the track so much now... but once you've done the license test in the TVR, and/or the enduro, you can get to know this track like no other, and call it your own. I think that it is one of the biggest challenges in GT3, to be able to piece together a faultless lap on this circuit!

Hope to see it in GT4.... you never know, they might make it a bit longer as well!

I personally dislike SSR11 when you have to go for 30 lap etc. due too it taking about 2 mins to go round. But when it is under 10 laps it is fine because its a good test. I would rather do 100 laps of this than 100 laps of Test Course or Complex String :)

im gonna agree with that id rather do 100 laps of ssr11 than test course cos the test is so BORING i usually fall asleep after about 5-10 laps!

Why they make you race around Test Course i don't know. It doesn't involve a huge amount of skill....

Having said that i did have my best race ever in the F1 series where every car had the same top speed and it was just down to who slip streemed who on the final corner would win and the rest of the race would be pointless. I won the race by around 0.040, how i celebrated, 6th place was only 0.7 behind me :D

Back to SSR11, it is noway near the top of my list of GT3 tracks that i like, it would be very close to the bottom.

This SSR11 is ok, but I prefer the one from GT1. I dont know why ppl hate it so much. Its not like the Test Course and Complex string which are TEST courses. There shouldnt be a race on Test Course like the dude above me said. But the SSR11 is a race track, and its got all the right elements to make it a good race track. Long straight, hairpins, chicanes, highspeed corners, inner straight ( well you can call it that because that chicane is really useless ) ...

I said I never liked it, but I do appreciate its quality as a good track. It is full of variety and requires your concentration for 99% of the time.
That being said I still hate it though :p

The F1 championship on the Test Course is pretty exciting. It's always a close race, and no one really has an advantage. The pit stops in that race are very crucial, because you have to know what lap to pit on and make sure you stay with the pack the whole race. It all comes down to who can get in front coming onto the straightaway out of the last corner. That is the most exciting race on the Test Course in the game.

nah. Just use the 686M, make the gears longer, take off all downforce, and you can kill the opposition. Not fun at all.... If you do wanna have fun, take the 090S.
