SSR7 glitch for top speed runs

Has anyone used it for this? How do they compare to using the actual track? How far out can you go? &c.

I think I had an Option Z up to something like 242. Something like that. It's fun but scary if you do it in a premium car.

Doesn't it say somewhere in the game that visual damage affects top speed?
