Hello, just mentioning this because not all cars had these fitted.GT6 would become more believable, if the A.I. made full use of factory sytems e.g. in an 09 Subaru Impreza STI the tc etc changes between snow, gravel, tarmac & operates the dccd ( for drifting or not ).The same goes for suspension in some BMWs + Alpina beemers, Mercedes - Benz SL55 AMG, Bentley Continental GT.What are your opinions on this ?.Hopefully we get the full effect from the R35 GTR.Would you have this in GT6 ?.

They are quite slow with creating premium cars in the first place. This would just take way longer than the normal creation time.

I am still curious about the real data from the manufacturers. In most games, the developers have to figure out the suspension settings by themselves and they try to get it closely to the real thing. Thats why some cars dont feel right i guess.

Maybe PD has some advantage because of their good connection to the japanese car builders.

I think such individual car features should be added, when everything else is perfect. I am not sure if car models can be improved much more in the future.

The driving physics can be improved by a huge amount, but i've forgot what it's called. It's like the milestone of real time weather, but it's for driving physics.

It's widely accepted that the oft-quoted six months per Premium car refers to the modeling: this wouldn't affect that too much, as it mostly has to do with the physics, other than making sure the required twiddly knobs are, er, twiddly :p

I think it'd be very cool of PD to include cars' unique driver-controlled options, but the biggest hurdle I see is a satisfactory way for us to interact with them during a race. The only reasonable answer I can think of, in light of the myriad different setups and input methods available, is something Kinect/Move like.

It's been said 3-6 months and makes more sense than the weirdly specific six months. Think about what it would take to model the '66 Beetle and then something LIKE the Zonda R, GT by Citroen, or 458. There's all that detail that doesn't need to be shown on the Beetle and just how plain it is in comparison to the others.

Standard cars take as long as they did for GT4, about one month each car. I've only read that in one place.

Heck, would settle for the convertible tops on such equipped cars to operate when it starts raining. 💡

Why not just include it in the RA menu when it can be changed?

Or, better yet, have the RA menu replicate the interface of the cars themselves where applicable.

They could use the red knob on the DFGT for real time tuning adjustments. It's perfectly set up for that already.

Ya I wonder how much interest PD has in further studying the details of individual cars chassis and suspensions and their geometry, and then actually changing it with the new findings.

I can't imagine how exactly they have come up with each cars characteristics, but in all fairness, it's probably impossible to completely simulate each car unless the manufacturer hands over highly sophisticated schematics, which somehow I don't believe even NISSAN is willing to supply.

Right now, I'm assuming PD is doing is "reverse engineering", unless they truly are getting SOME real geometry and load figures from manufacturers, but then in a way it would be unfair as only a few cars in the game would have the "real deal" physics.

At the end of the day, all I ask is that PD keep expanding their physics complexity and get really really really close to reality... it will never be 1:1. So ya, there quite a lot of room for improvement for PD.

I believe you should pay for driver assists if they don't come as standard for a car. Sort of like gt2

Standard cars take about thirty seconds because it's just copy-and-paste. PD didn't make Standard cars for GT5. Standard cars weren't simply cars that received less effort from PD. They were cars carried in from PSP, PS2, or even PSX. Perhaps "four weeks" is how long it took to create them the first time around last-gen or how long it would take to hypothetically model a GT5 model minus an interior, but I can't think of any Standards built for GT5.

Hmm... Sport mode, brake based LSD effect, adjustable dampers, rev-matching for manuals, launch control, raising the speed senstive spoiler at rest, convertibles...

Some of these are certainly doable. Maybe toggle them through pause menu if there aren't enough buttons.

Before that though, they could implement some of the car tech that has already been done (like the torque converter/DCT shift effect) to cars that should have them.

If ATTESA systems work a bit like S-AYC, maybe try applying that effect to the GTRs and the like?

Another thing is adding some more interactivity to cockpits through a full set of working instruments like odometers and assorted pressure gauges. (The things I always mention with GT5.)

Also, blinking TCS or ESC lights or a check engine light when needing an oil change?

Adding to the 'premium' effect, these could give the cars in GT some differentiation from the other licensed car games by making each car feel unique to poke around, if not in driving feel.
