Welcome to my 3rd GT4 write up. Today we are looking at the other tuner S2000's. These are a step above the last S2000's I wrote about. So this should be loads of fun.

The competitiors:

Spoon S2000 Race car (200,000cr)

Opera Performance S2000 (150,000cr)

and the Amuse S2000 R1 (150,000cr)

The Spoon S2000 has 271hp and weighs 1050kg.
It comes standard with Racing Super Hard tires,Brake balance controller, Racing Suspension, Full customizable transmission, Downforce ranging from 8-13 front and 11-18 rear, and Full customizable LSD.

The Amuse S2000 has 258hp and weighs 1120kg.
It comes standard with Sports Soft tires, Sport suspension and has no customizable Downforce.

The Opera Performance S2000 has 270hp and weighs 930kg
It comes standard with Sports Soft tires,Sport suspension and Downforce ranging from 0-30 front and rear.

The first test will consist of 0-60 mph,400m,1000m and Top Speed.

1. Opera Performance S2000
0-60 5.200
400m 13.569@107mph
1000m 24.261@141mph
Top Speed 173.70mph

2. Amuse S2000 R1
0-60 5.466
400m 14.030@102mph
1000m 25.333@132mph
Top Speed 162.08mph (true top speed)

3. Spoon S2000 Race car
0-60 5.966
400m 14.270@101mph
1000m 25.807@129mph
Top speed 160.10mph (Redline limited)

Our next test will be a quick B-spec lap session at Apricot hill. All the cars used their standard tires and no modifications were made to them in Arcade mode. B-spec bob ran 10 laps with each car.

1.Opera Performance S2000
Lap time: 1:32:497

2. Spoon S2000 Race car
Lap time: 1:34:360 (I also A-spec'd the car and ran consistent 1:29's and 1:28's)

3. Amuse S2000 R1
Lap time: 1:34:761

So the winner of the competition is who? Well I would have to say the Opera performance S2000...it beat all competitiors in all categories..it tied in 1 and that is the price. That said I hope you enjoyed my little comparision..Heres some photo's I took while testing these cars.

Well he wanted to show what the fastest tuner s2000 was and I think that showed me that th e opera has a significant advantage.

What is amazing is that the other two are practically race cars but the Amuse is a tuned road car. When you take that into account it performs surprisingly well.

I have tested all of them too. The Opera was too twitchy for me so I now prefer the Amuse as my S2000. Is it really a drift car as 1989therat said? To me it feels like a race car, not so sliding at all.

I have not done any S2000 testing in this game, but I did extensive testing in GT3.
I like your write-up and your format.
Well done.

Try the road S2000 as well and let us know how it does.

I'm stunned that a 150000 credit tuned road car can beat a 200000 credit race car that is based on the same chassis, has more power (ok 1bhp is not exactly an unfair advantage) and is cruising around on race tyres. And this is not only in a straight line but also around a race track! The weight advantage must have more impact than I would have given it credit for.

Nice test. 👍

Nice writeup 👍
My favourite one is the Opera S200, all the stickers make it look cool :)
