One feature I miss from GT5 is you could turn on the tachometer and speedometer from the race quick menu (or when you picked a standard car and cockpit view it would turn them on automatically, I can't recall exactly).
I like to use the gauges in the cockpit, but leave the race data near the top of the screen on. The options to change this in the quick menu appear to be gone. For race data you can only select "Display all" or "None".
Am I missing something? Do I really need to go back out to the main menu to turn on the tach and speedo for standards(or off for premiums) in GT6? Anyone else dislike this? Am I too picky? Am I crazy?
P.S. I also dislike the linear tachometer at the bottom right of the screen that's now used in cockpit view.
