Standard cars and H-pattern shifting?

So I finally grinded 2 million bucks to buy my favorite car, the Toyota-7....only to find out I can't use H-pattern shifting and the clutch? Only sequential and paddles? What the...?

Don't tell me PD did this to all standard cars so they didn't have to include shifting animations. It would totally ruin the car for me, a 70's racing car with sequential or paddle shifting and without a clutch? You have to be kidding me. One step forward, three steps backwards? PD, why, why do you do this to me???

As if mindless grinding and silly obvious tuning bugs weren't enough, no, they also have to ruin my favorite car. So far GT6 hasn't been fun. at. all.

The Toyota 7 does not have a dog clutch.

It is a glitch, there is no consistency to this. Same car premium and standard, different shifters, its definitely a bug.
