Standard race car bug H-pattern shifting

I just wanted to ask if the bug of standard race cars not having H-pattern shifting or clutch support still exists, or has it been removed via one of the latest updates? I want to buy the Toyota-7 but I will not spend literally millions if it only has a sequential gear box with paddle shifting, that totally breaks the fun of driving a 70's era race car.

Can anybody confirm or deny its existence?

Unfortunately the bug is still there.
 
Its probably not going anywhere either. Same with the fully customizable gearbox bug aswell.

I have the fully customizable gearbox on a handful of cars that are supposed to have an H-pattern, but it still works.
