I just rented this today, has anyone else played it? I did a bit of singleplayer and at first I didnt like it that much but after playing a bit I figured out the different stances (crouch, prone) and it seemed pretty cool. Lotsa vehicles, graphics are pretty good. Online at first I was getting alot of connection problems like lag and the connection icon popping up but it was because some jackass was eating up my bandwidth using the computer in the other room. So I just gave my xbox a direct connection instead of through the router and told everyone else in my house that I couldnt figure out what was wrong. Online game are up to 24 players at a time but I found the most fun games are around 16 becuase you can actually use tactics and plan things out with smaller teams.
In the larger games it seems like no one works together or talks at all. Anyways let me know what you think, I searched and didnt find anything about this game except for an old one before the game came out in the ps2 forum.
 
This game is sweet, I've been playing it quite a bit for the past couple days. I just rented in but I play online from time to time. I don't think its worthy of a buy since I might get tired of it fast, just like I did with Battlefield 1942. But still its rather entertaining.
 
....it'd be better if they had more maps...I know there will be some in time...but ....Hoth/endor/ and tatooine can only be played soo many times before it's just completely retarded.......

Oh well..not a bad game....A friend of mine got it on debut day for 30 bucks...so...it's worth that...50..not so sure...but i'll give it 35..
 
There are way more than 3 maps, I'm not sure but there are like 6-8 planets with two maps each. You have to beat the single player part of the game if you want all the maps available offline, otherwise online you can play them all.
 
I thought the game was pretty cool, I bought it, not for the whole starwars thing but for the shooting part of it.

My brothers and I have been looking at this game - we haven't gotten yet, but we are definitely considering it. It looks awesome. I've downloaded the videos and it looks very impressive.

What's the single player like? Are the maps really big?

I really want to know more about this game and if it is really worth getting. I've always wanted a single player game on the Xbox that is dedicated to this kind of "deathmatch" mode. And I love the 3rd person view too!

single player gets old extremely fast.

LAN and online are where it's entertaining.

id say its even worth it for the single player and co-op (Really fun) i played it all night when i rented it i want to buy it.
