Straight from Japan, its a starwars-like machine. At over 11 feet high and weighing in at over 2,000 pounds, this four pedal operated robot sports a working airgun on each side and is driven utilizing four pedals in the cockpit. You can pick one up for a bit over $300,000 - shipping costs might hurt a bit though.

Bah, "Star Wars" indeed ... it's BattleTech! Looks a bit like a Flea prototype to me :D.

As a serving Captain in the AFFS, do I get first dibs :lol:.
 
I don't want a starwars land walker. Those things suck.

I'd rather have a lightsaber or an evangelion.
 
It has no sights , so it's hardly military-grade weaponry , it can't get it's knees up so it shuffles not walks . Hmmmn 3peashooters or a Veyron .

If it actually moved, they would've taped it doing so. What a joke.

Some rich kid somewhere will buy one, though, and he'll screw around with it for a couple of weeks, get bored, and it will gather dust somewhere on his estate from then on...

Word, I'd be so there, too. We'll think of something. I mean, all they did was reflect light and energy off of crystals. How hard could that be?

I'd bet that if we didn't shift to guns, then sword technology would've advanced to a lightsaber era. 👍

:lol: Haha, anyway, I thought it was gonna be a life-sized one. Kind of like the one they crashed in that (now famous, I suppose) crash test video where the gas tanks get ripped apart and stuff.

Oh well. Still really cool, though. I wonder if you could put a saddle on it and ride into the heavens. (okay, that's your open opportunity to get revenge on me for my first remark.)

I don't think you can compare the two options, since a Veyron is going to cost you around $1.2 million U.S., four times as much as one of these pointless contraptions. If I saw someone in one of those, I'd get a gang of friends to push him over. That would be hilarious.
