Remember that great rumor? Ha ha, nice dreams ... ok back to Gran Turismo.

But seriously, it was announced so long ago and then ... silence ... *chirp chirp* ... where did it go? I just checked their website and the news update from November or something said they were going to extend through 2003 into 2004 with no known release date. It's been over a YEAR. Why do game companies do this? It only frustrates me.

You know what. I REFUSE to purchase it. Refuse. Won't happen. **** THEM and their lying marketting department. They get no $50 from me. The last thing I bought was Starcraft. Gee, I wonder why ... because WC3 was a resource hog and Ghost will never see the light of day.

Guess I'll just keep waiting on Duke Nukem Forever.

/me watches tumble weed roll across this thread.

Does no one else care about Ghost? I swore I wouldn't buy it, but if someone gives it to me ... assuming it actually gets released ... I'll probably play it until the laser burns a hole in the disk.

I saw video clips for the game and it looks awsome!!

Well I think they didn't give up the game since they made clips...

If your asking for the clips I'm not sure where I seen em...

Maybe Gamespy.com since I always go there?

I think I would like the Ghost in the Shell PS2 game better though... Some made moves in that game:eek:

Yup!

That was well over a year ago ...

I didn't mention clips. I mentioned the game. You mentioned clips. I don't want them.

Maybe Gamespy.com since I always go there?

Gamespy is a bunch of crap. I went to Blizzard's website ... the people making the game.

I think I would like the Ghost in the Shell PS2 game better though... Some made moves in that game:eek: [/B]

Ghost in the Shell? Has nothing to do with Ghost from Blizzard. Completely different. I don't want Ghost in the Shell, I want Starcraft Ghost. Did you see the title? It says Starcraft Ghost.

According to the dude at electronics boutique, Starcraft: Ghost is supposed to be comming out in April (30th I think), but I haven't seen any publicity or things of the like yet...
Many websites claim Q2 and Q4 of 2005 however.

The graphics look pretty outdated though, I'm not sure it's going to be released. The same thing happened for Warcraft III, what's wrong with Blizzard lately?

The same thing that was wrong with them several years ago when the nonevents you are describing happened?
I'm sure there was a news post outlining the exact circumstances of SC:G's most probable lack of production at Penny Arcade* some time ago, but I can't seem to find it.

*because I can't be bothered to read any actual news sites.

I think that Blizzard was putting all their resources into World of Warcraft. Afterall, Warcraft is what put Blizzard on the gaming map and it still turns a huge profit. They also realized the potential reocurring revenue of providing an online gaming service.

I fear we will not see Ghost. But perhaps someday we will get a StarCraft II. I actually played some Broodwar last night. The thing I like about it is how ballanced it is, and how simple it is, yet there are plenty of different methods for playing.

That's the beauty of strategy games.

wtf? Warcraft III was over a year late in case you didn't notice.

Yeah, whyever they have late things now is the same reason those things were late several years ago.

I actually didn't notice WCIII was late :dopey: I have a copy and I still had to think for a minute before I remembered if it actually ever got produced or not.

ah i loved war craft 3. probably logged in like 100 hrs online in that. i heard E3 this year was gonna have starcraft: ghost in it. well still looks like a decent game.
