start over procedure steps

I want to start over, I thought I knew how ... went to PS files utility and deleted GT5 but after re-down loading 608mb update (26hours) it reinstalled and I am right back where I was level A26 & B14. I want to start from begining. Is there away to do this without losing my 608mb down load that is such a killer for me. I am in Iraq Al Asad Air Base and my system just can't handle these 600mb down loads plus I did it wrong to begin with because I am right back where I started? If I have to do all the lic over that is ok, I prefer not too but it just makes me better so to get a new start then OK. I just don't like the way I have gone about doing this sold a lot of cars yes I know everyone said not too I should have waited it just plays so differently than past games. I want to try a new approach.

Go to the save data utility. PS files is game install data


EDIT: Or create new user on your ps3 to keep your current game
 
delete your save file in the save data utility, not the game data utility. the save data utility is just above the trophy folder. it will have your psn id attach to it.
 
or use new psn account. your old game will be keep in case you want it back.
 
Or back up the save data, then delete it and use the same PSN ID. Restore it if you ever want it back.
 
AAhhhh gggezeze sometimes I am totally brain dead.. new user that is so easy, yes I have to set up user account but it only takes a few min .... thanks
