I'm wanting a good starter drift car that is easy to drift so I can learn how to drift good. I want to build my car from the ground up so don't suggest cars like the Blitz ER34. I would prefer to have a JDM car like an S13 or S2000 and other Japanese cars that are drifted in real life. Price doesn't matter unless it goes higher than 350K. When you sugest a car say the name, what mods from the tuning shop and the car is set-up along with what style and method of drifting the car is suited for. I would also like a wing and bodykit for rhe car so premium would be preferable.
Thanks, Drift501

Send me one and I'll mod it for you or trade me a car for one set for drift.

What price would you be looking for and what style of drift is it suited for a.k.a. fast, slow e.g.

Medium to fast. Just send the car to my kids acct. and I'll mod and send it right back.
Acct. is brakeanekkidz

If you buy the parts and car, then nothing. If I buy the car and mod it for you than just return the favor with the car and mods. It's up to you. My kids want one now also.

Use the search button, also do some work yourself, experiment a little and you'll get a better result, someone else's tune/car will more than likely not suit your style.

IS-F, just get some Comfort Hard tires and it's very driftable. Opting to spend 7500 for an adjustable LSD and 15000 for fully customizable suspension can only make it better (once tuned). The car has over 430hp, plenty for a car of its size.

OMG! I was gonna say get an FC and put the air filter and sports exhaust and LSD and suspension and then go shred but then I was like "nah he probably wants one of those cars that do 50m perpendicular wallrides into the corner"

that should only cost you like 100k I think . . .

so spend the other 200 on a souped up s13 K's with a BIG wing and gold rims =D

Are M3's under 300 k? If they are get a new one. I can drift it stock easily. It has good manageable power and handling with C hard tyres.

I like the idea if it follows a RPGist concept, where people are not milinaries and dont have access to all technology that we find in the game. But if your problem is money shortage, remember that the sazional events are giving a huge ammount of cash in races and dont demand too much technique or a top notch car.

Anyways:
Keep in mind that usualy a full upgrade on any car cost around of $200k. If you get a premium car, you wont need to spend money re-making body and engine. So there will be a plenty of options in the FR premium cars for you inside the range of $100k.

I would recommend the mazda mx5 premium completely worked or the Nissan s13 all worked. The s13 is alright power with not so touchy acceleration if you go stage 3 turbo. For the mazda it has less power but is more touchy so is actually very good for precision drifts. For settings check out the depot and just just use those, once you get good you can then understand what settings to put to your liking.

Good beginner cars are RX-7, Trueno levin, Sil-80, and others, but whatever works for you! Also i suggest NOT tuning your car if you are beginning drifters. Leave it stock including Tires and as you grow in skill and surpass the settings tune where needed! Now you can Buy Customizable Suspension or Intake/Exhaust but don't get too crazy with adding power(Turbo,Engine upgrade). Get used to The Mechanics of Drifting, Like Throttle control, Counter steering, how to take proper lines through turns, etc first.

i would try the dodge viper srt10 it has a lot of power and controle if you need to tweek settings i would start with the supsenchion or minor engine mods. cost estamate 100,000-150,000

240sx adjustable suspension LSD . . . cat-back sports exhaust, air filter, ecu, mid range turbo, full weight reduction and like a hundred kilo's in the trunk

big spoiler set to 5 downforce is a must, too.

. . . and paint it metallic gold (like it was 1980)

I find 4 Doors as the way to go really. Try an Aristo, the big early 90's Lexus (GS300???), Lotus Carlton or a Jaguar XFR. All can be made into serious horse power machines that are soo easy to drift and just create mental amounts of smoke. The Aristo I have still spins its wheels in 5th gear in a straight line :-)
