Hey I am trying to beat GT3 as quickly as possible, and since I am not a patient person, I am not one of those people who likes a competitive race, for the reason that there is a chance to lose where the controller will likely be thrown through a wall or something... So... I wanted everyones opinion on my lineup for my remaining races. The remaining races and car I have chosen for them go something like this...

Amateur GT All Stars- F090/S
Amateur Japanese GT- F090/S
Pro GT World- F090/s
Pro MR- F090/s
Pro GT All Stars- F090/s
Pro Japenese GT- F090/s
Pro Dream Car- F090/s
Pro Formula GT- F090/s
Grand Valley 300- F090/s
Laguna Seca 200- F090/s
Passage to Colosseo- F090/s
Tokyo Endurance- F090/s
Mistral- F090/s
SS11 Endurance- F090/s
Pro FR- Altezza LM
Pro Boxer- RUF RGT

Trial Mountain Endurance- Skyline VSpec II (R34)

Don't you want to do it quickly then? :D

Why dont u use the F094/S? Do the Pro PD cup first, win the F094/S, and then it will be even faster.

Well for one, what should I replace the Skyline with, and 2 I already have all my cars, and I think I am going to replace the F090/S when I get a new F1 car, but for the time being it is my starter.

The TS020, in Famine's capable ha\nds, will do more than a hundred laps in the TME.

Besides, the real point is that he's having you on, because the Trial Mountain Enduro is 2 hours long no matter what car you use.

And if you're interested in doing things quickly, why not say "I'm using the F090 for everything possible"?

The fastest 4WD to do stock car races with is the Ruf CTR2. However, when I ran the TM Enduro (and bear in mind I have the 4WD record for it), I ended up marginally behind the time I'd set previously with the Ruf RGT. Since you already HAVE a Ruf RGT, I'd run with that - before you tune it for Pro Boxer.

Otherwise, TVR Speed 12, Dodge Concept, Dodge Viper (for FRs), R390 road, TS020 road, XJ220 road (for MRs) will get the job done quick.

:O

92 really. But on the Rome Enduro you can probably squeeze 110-ish from a quick F1.

Uh-huh, suuuure... we all know you mean 192 laps. :p

2005McLarenF1 - I know it's probably futile asking, but what fun is it demolishing the competition like that?

Nah - that's in my Lister Vitz hybrid... :D

That's actually the one thing missing from Racing-Line - a hybrid category for enduros. Any muppet can make a 12000hp drag monster. But to make an incredibly fast car that's kind on her tyres... And drive it for 2 hours... :D

A quote from Gustav Graves in Die Another Day "You weakness is women, hers and mine is winning."
I guess Im with him on that one.

NoQuarter had a good post on this at the GameFaqs forum:

I'm the Race Admin for the Formula Gran Prix at the GTF...So far, we've run 3 seasons of this series, and have pretty much worked out which F1 cars are the best.

The best overall F1 car is a tossup between the NTSC F094/s and the PAL Poly 001. The F094/h runs a close second, but extensive testing shows that the 094/s has slightly better tire wear and handling than the 094/h...

The F686/m is the most powerful F1 car, and cannot be touched by the 094 cars or the Poly 001 at Super Speedway or the Test Course. But on the more technical tracks, the 8 year difference in suspension technology developement really shows, with poorer handling and tire wear characteristics. Also, because it is a turbo 6, it requires very exacting throttle control to avoid the problems with Turbo lag and over rev...

Next is the 687. It doens't have as much HP as the 686 and only slightly better handling tire wear, so it gives way to the 686.

Next, is the 688 and it's PAL counterpart, the Poly 002. These two cars represent the middle performance capabilty of the F1 cars, with lower HP than the 094/001 cars and similar handling/tire wear to the 686/687...

Finally, the F090/s. This little car has much better handling than the 68 series and the Poly 002, but is so far down the HP chart that it is freqently the back marker for all but the very best drivers...

To summerize the F1 rankings:

F094/s & Poly 001
F094/h
F686/m
F687/s
F688/s & Poly 002
F090/s

Well I havent tried that one, You win it by winning all the endurance races right? Well I am almost there, but the F686/M is the best one out of the five i have used. But the F090/s......................................sucks. Compared to some of the other F1 cars, it just sucks. It lacks in power and top speed. I use to love it, but now i dont since i won the laguna seca endurance and won the F686/M.

You're thinking of the F094/H, which can be won at Tokyo 246 Endurance, Trial Mountain Endurance, or by finishing all the endurance races.

The F094/S is only available from the Polyphony Digital Cup (and when you get 100%).

Sounds okay, but I think you'd want to get a faster Formula 1...;)

I dont know why you think the F090/S sucks. I was able to destroy the opposition in the Formula GT Championship with it. Only problem was the Test Course which I skipped and did it with the 686/M.

I definitely agree with the choice of the F090/S. I have done nearly all of the races up to the end of professional and I have put 2900 Miles on the F090/S alone.

Yeah, you should win at least 1 F1 from all the enduros you're going to be doing soon...;)
