Status Comments Are Not Showing

Recently, I have gotten a pair of notifications saying "Name Here" has liked your status.

Along with this, another notification says "Name Here" has commented on your status.

I got these alerts a few minutes apart. The problem occurs when I try and look at the comment. It is not there.

Is there a way to tell whether or not somebody has delete a comment on your status? That is the only thing I can think that may have happened. I did use the search feature! :)

What was the status to which you received those alerts? If a comment was deleted, the alerts for it should have been removed as well.
