I too am having this problem.... I put an ssd in my "Slim ps3" and the 160gb hdd from "Slim" in to the old "fatty" Using two different USB drives to backup and then restore the data on the two ps3s that I own (I say this to express the fact that I still have the backup data on the externals). I am running out of room on the nas that I took the original hard drives out of to use as backups along with an hd enclosure. In any case my NAS as agonizingly slow with only one hd and is susceptible to data loss as my raid setup in the nas cannot be re-implemented until I free up the two hd's used for backup (one fore mirrioring and one for striping). In any case, the stealth cars are as yet irreplaceable as they cannot be traded and 3 of the stealth cars I had are not even available in the US as far as I know. I was about to give up and just rebuild my raid array withing my nas as I was originally holding on to them to make sure everything got transferred correctly and is not unduly corrupted, but then I saw this question relating to the only hiccup I had and hope that someone can help... If you have any questions about my setup and procedure let me know but don't ask anything that is obvious (especially if you do it smugly) because I have likely already done it, and wont dignify it with an answer. Thanks to anyone that can shed some light on the subject, I have done a backup and restore before with gt5 data (along with PS3 system data) and everything came back as expected.
