Stealth / Chromelines Back, Base Models?!

Been scrolling through the car list and noticed the chromelines are back, stealths are back, and there is a base model Peugeot 908 base car, yet the two other 908's also remember. There's also the all black Audi R18 test car and loads of "base models".

What do you think these are?
 
I wouldn't expect a livery editor, but rather the base models being paintable versions of the cars. I'd imagine they did that for racing series, best to have a variety eh?
 
Watch the video and look for the shot of the two Megan Trophy cars. The yellow one has the licensed livery, the black one is what we suspect to be a Base Model.

Basically an RM-style livery that we might be able to paint and change the number on.

Reminds me of the standard Audi R8 supercar racecar, the dark red one, in GT5. I imagine that's what the base models will be like.
