A Mazda 787B Stealth Model, fully upgraded.
Racing at A Spec Endurance 24 hour Le Mans.

1. Will this car win the race?

2. Does anyone know the AI's latimes on A-spec (i've searched around but couldn't find anything).

3. Does anyone have a good tuning setup for this car on this track? (Curcuit De La Sarthe)

Edit: Found a setup in RKM, but is this for the De La Sarthe track?

Thanks for any help.

It'll win even if you don't upgrade it.

I think RKM Motorsport's have a good tune for the 787B if you want to look for it.

Will it win the race? Depends on the driver's skill, but against the AI it should be pretty possible, after all it is a car in same racing class as the AI.

EDIT: Lap times for the AI is around 3.30. I can do a 3.17 in my 787B.

Sorry for going off topic but can you get the 787B in the ucd or the new dealership or is it strictly a pre order car?

Also good luck on your race.

The stealth version is pre-order only, but have the same stats as the original one. The original one can be bought in the new dealerships.

You're slightly wrong ;)

The Stealth version can be bought in pre-order, and in the Signature Edt. It can also be traded for or bought over the net.

The Stealth version do also have slightly more power, a bit less weight (I belive) and cost "nothing" to repair. 500 Cr. for overhaul and 500 Cr. for body repair.

The 787B has a max BHP of 927BHP and cost 500Cr to repair; engine and chassis.
But the Judd Hybrid gets my vote on that actually.
I did my fastest time at 2:58.XXX in it while driving like a mad man on the 24h Le Mans (De La Sarthe).

I saw the car in the dealership and it's for sale for 5.something million. When you say it costs 500 credits to repair, are you shortening the 500k it usually takes to repair a car or is it really just 500 credits? Is that only for the stealth version of the car?

500 was a typo.
If you want to repair a damaged car, or a car from the UCD, it will cost you 500.000 credits. Not 500.
The Stealth cars are not different when it comes to repairs.

If you want the 787B, buy it from the dealer.

You sure bro? Do you own stealth cars?

Stealth cars cost 500 credits each to repair and overhaul.

Can somebody confirm this, because I've heard many different answers... :dunce:

Stealths are a bit lighter and have a bit more power!

And why do people have to say something, even though they obviously don't have the stealths? Repair and chassis cost is 500 credits for stealths and chromlines!

Truth.

Sorry about the stealth 787B. Obviously I am wrong.

Cutting corners..! Every single one. Straight through the chicanes at the end, especially.

Very obviously, you don't own any Stealth cars in your garage!!!
Again, 500 cr. is NOT a typo!!!!

The best way is to TRY IT. Race till pit stop, experience weather changes, fuel and tire changes, get your time then re start with another car. AI are slow in GT5 except the Vettel Challenge (my opinion). You'll win if you survived the 24 hours. Just make sure you're rested well and have 3-4 days off with friends over the weekend. Oh... don't use the X1 - its not real and it is still 24hrs driving with it - use a true LM car. goodluck.

2 hours in im currently doing 3.08.5xx - 3.12.xxx rounds... And im not driving like a mad man ;)

Im saving up the hard tires im running on to make them last a few laps longer :D

@McSoap90 - Which car are you using? Le Mans will be my next endurance, and I'm planning to use the 908

Switch to soft tyres mate more grip faster laps and they last the same time as hard tyres.

Also, i've heard the 908 is ****, but i've never driven it so I wouldn't know ;)

Yeah I was thinking about it, but I don't really care ;)
Im currently leading by 3 laps so im fine with the hard tyres :D

I have to drive 24 hours anyway so why drive like a moron to get good laptimes when I can enjoy the race? 👍

@McSoap90 - Luckily, most of the Le Mans legends are sitting in my garage, waiting for their chance. I'll make some more test-runs to decide which one to take to the 24h
