steering assist

just wondering , i see allot off threads abou how much FF to use , but do you guys set the steering assist on or off , normal cars have power steering right ? so this should be on or am i wrong? grtz

DFP. FFB at 10. Steering assist, if that's the one under the menu where you select tires, then yes mine is on.

TURN IT OFFF steering assist the computer will help keep your wheels pointed in the direction you want to go so its harder to spin out. SO it VERY unrealistic and its driving the car for you. lol lame

Ever hear of this thing called caster on cars?

Yea I agree with Asy on that one. I've always drifted with it off, but once I tried it with it on and the car just wasn't handling the way I wanted it to. It corrected my oversteer for me and I like to do the work all by myself! lol

yes but why let the game steer for you just wait till caster is incorperated in the suspension tuning trust me i would love some caster on a few of the cars but i wont allow the game to steer for me just dont seem right to me
