Does every car in GT5 have 900 degrees of rotation when it's on the track (driving dirt rally the steering degrees are less), or the race cars have less steering degrees like in real life. I was really surprised when i find out that the Ferrari F1 cars have 900 of rotation, because they should have 360 or less. Some Historic and GT race cars have 480 or 540 degrees of rotation.

Yes, only a few cars do not have the full 900 degrees. On a dirt and snow tracks all cars change to the limited degrees of rotation.

However, there is a way to change the degrees of rotation for making the F1 cars more realistic.

Check this thread out for setting the degrees of rotation. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=286646

(Note it will not fiction the dirt and snow track problem)

While you can turn the wheel 900 degrees, you never need to. For example, driving a F1 car, you only need 90 degrees to maneuver. There's no lock on the wheel but you can tell when you have enough steering by how much the tires are actually turning.

With that said, apart from drifting, I've never really had the need to turn the wheel past 180 degrees. There's only small fraction where you would need too.
