Using the DFGT, I noticed that you need to turn the wheel more on the F2007 to be able to navagate turns than if you were using a normal car. The steering lock seems to be lower (Wheels turn less). Does anyone else notice this?

Yeah, its because the F1 cars use less steering degree's so that they can turn faster and have more of a turning radius at higher speeds.

I believe it is 270 degrees for an open wheel racecar and the DFGT is a 900 degree wheel with no way to change it to 270 degrees it just makes it very tricky. perhaps you can change the steering sensitivity for the dfgt like you can with ds3?

That is not possible. However, the fact that the steering is like that encourages smoother steering:tup:

Thank god for the 200 degree mode on the classic dfpro. makes driving the the open wheel cars alot easier
