Hi everyone! Please help a beginner out šŸ™

I’m trying to properly position my TV and steering wheel setup. The problem is that when I’m playing, the top part of the wheel slightly blocks part of the TV screen. How do you deal with this issue in your setups? :(

Seat higher, TV higher, wheel lower, or any combination of the three. Those are your options really.
Thanks for the reply and the good advice. By the way, ChatGPT actually suggested leaving it exactly like this, because the wheel ends up roughly where the real steering wheel and dashboard would be in an actual car. Because of that, the brain supposedly perceives the scale and immersion better. So in a way, it’s actually better if the wheel blocks a small part of the screen. Now I’m completely confused šŸ˜„

Did ChatGPT consider that there might be a HUD on the screen that the player would want to see?

ā€œI suppose not. So your recommendation is to lower the wheel a little so it doesn’t block the dashboard/instrument panel?ā€

It's up to you to decide. Depends on how much of the HUD that is blocked and how important it is for you to see it.

the top of my wheel is maybe an inch at most into the bottom of the screen. seems good for me. dont block hud. also consider the other views you may use.

Well, just lowering the wheel is an option, but could compromise your seating position. I would say keep your seat/wheel position the same if that is comfortable at the moment.

Instead, see if you can slightly raise your TV to fix that problem, and you are good to go.

yes this is great advice. get your seat adjusted as you like it so it feels right when you drive. Moving the TV up or down is a much better way to get the view right,.i got mine on about a 2" rise from top of tv stand.

Had the exact same issue, between my TV, my rig and the T598 "high" wheelbase.
I ended up buying new support for my TV, so that it'd be a bit higher. One year later, nothing has moved, so I highly recommand this.

My new support looks like this, you can tune the height of the TV as you need to :
