Im about to get this wheel sometime this month. But I was wondering, If I ever change the wheel and put an aftermarket wheel on the G25, will it make the wheel quieter? I just got this Momo Monte Carlo wheel from the junkyard for $50!

If not, which I will assume, is there a way I can reduce sound from the G25?

Nope, the noise comes from the gears inside, not the actual steering wheel. If you really want it quiet, you can always purchase a Frex TypeG to piggy back on your G25. =P

I'll stick with this. 👍

I am currently ready to order a Logitech G25, so I hope it wont let me down.

I'm used G25 before, too noisy, gear feel very obvious .
I think G27 is a better choice, much more quiet and smooth,
a better paddles shifter design, and the h-shift feeling have a little bit improve.
Just without sequential shift mode.

I have a 320 mm wheel on my G27, and it actually probably made it louder due to the motors working harder, but it's a mod I can no longer live without, I went from running 5 FFB for drifting to 10 FFB with no extra effort needed, it gives you alot more advantage for catching drifts, and gives you more FFB feel, plus it just feels right, IMO the original wheel reminds me of a go-cart wheel, and it also looks way cooler. Best mod I've done right above stiffening the brake and clutch pedals.
