I'm not happy with the steering wheel settings on gt sport they have put more effort in to photo mode this is supposed to be a driving sim not photo shop..if they wanted to keep it simple for all ages they should have made a advanced mode so you could change the settings if your not happy with the handling

There is a reasonable amount of adjustment for the wheel, the controller sensitivity seems to adjust the steering rack length. I haven't looked to see if it's also affecting pedal input.

I would prefer specific options to calibrate my pedals and wheel.

However, PD are trying to get controllers and wheels on the same playing field, which they appear to have achieved.

Sure and certainly YES... FFB in GTS is really bad compared with other sims.
Hopefuly they add some adjustments sliders more like assetto (simple but effective and enough)

Im happy with the settings, but who would argue against more?

Careful though, because too many setting is a big turn-off. I still don't think I have my PC2 T300 settings dialed in like I would like. Something feels a bit off, but its hard to target where (not to mention the time investment).

When I compare my GTS wheel experience with what I went through with PCars 2, I'm deliriously happy with GTS.

In PCars 2, I found that the default calibration required about 180° wheel rotation to negotiate a 130 mph sweeping curve even after following the specified procedure for calibration. By default, the cars were undrivable, and still undrivable if the calibration was done according to the game advice. The calibration process wanted me to input a full lock, so I steadily reduced the rotation during the process until I finally came up with something which approximates the directness of a real car's steering ratio. A subsequent game update replaced my calibration with another which again had my arms flailing until I repeated my experiments.

Contrast that with GTS where I just hopped in and drove off, never giving a thought to wasting my time experimenting with wheel calibration.

Watching the videos on your YT channel, you’d be better off focusing on improving your driving rather than moaning about lack of wheel settings. You can barely run a lap without crashing!
Thank you for watching my videos I don't crash all the time and I've been spoilt with proper driving Sims that's got steering wheel setting not like this simcade game

Based on what I'm seeing, I have to agree: settings ain't your issue.

I'm not happy with the pedals as well, would like to see some adjustments available.

I'm not using a steering wheel on there have you tried using a wheel on there it's hopeless

Actually it's not. while yes this is a post replay view. the race was online and done with a wheel. heck I can hop on later today and record one just to show

I dont like the unlimited steering wheel options from games like dirt 4 and project cars. The steering ratio should be what is depicted of the car. GT has been good with having this part fixed. When racing games give you all this steering wheel sensitivity settings, steering ratio, damper, it's alot of work to tune it. What I'm really saying is, I expect the game to have done their job in researching and making the steering ratio as accurate to the real life car as possible when playing with a wheel not leaving it up to us to tweak the steering ratio and sensitivity.

Tweaking ffb is a different thing, settings for ffb are good to have to tune the strengths and road feel.

In GTS I do wish the Drift steering option was at least available in sport mode. The FFB steering wheel behaves slightly better, more road and tire feedback when using Drift steering with a ffb steering wheel. Unfortunately it is not available for racing in sport mode.

Your wrong these are track racing cars they have the settings set up by the driver not by what's come out of the factory

If gt models that drivers car for the game, then they model the steering to match that drivers racing cars setup when they do their testing.

From past gt games likje gt5 and gt6, playing with a ffb i could feel the steering nauaces between the many years of the s2000 and NSX. Some might think its all the same car, but GT invested time in making their steering all feel different. I can notice a AP1 from and AP2 if you blind tested the car selection and let me drive it with a ffb wheel. Same same with all the many rx7s, they all felt different.

Yes, you've been banging that drum for about four months:

and, curiously, I've never seen a particularly clear explanation of exactly what the problem is for you.

That aside, your poll options are rather loaded. Anyone who disagrees with you and selects "no" apparently must agree with you that the settings are somehow lacking.

This isn't about me driving it's about the lack of steering wheel settings in a driving game
So what kind of settings is it lacking? What do you want added? Seeing some of your posts on here, you seem to want it to drive like on DS4?
