Still a great looking game

I recently hooked my PS2 up to my HD LCD tv via component cables, and Gran Turismo 3 aged very well. I think it looks better than GT5 in some ways like the sun effect. The jump in graphics between GT3 and GT5 isn't as huge as it was between GT2 and GT3. The fact that Gran Turismo 3 still looks amazing being 12 years old is a testament to Polyphony's technical brilliance.
 
Very interesting interview, now it makes a bit more sense why GT5 took so long. Now i'm really excited for the Next gen GT on the PS4 since it's on x86 platform.
