Why cant the vw Beetle be tuned to the same spec as the samba (bhp)

They have the same engine! And i dont see why you are stuck with 89bhp with the bug and get the samba's bhp up to 211bhp :indiff:

The bug can be tuned up to 300bhp!!! irl

:grumpy:

GT5 isn't particularly realistic on the tuning aspect, no matter how much it claims to be.

I agree. It seems like they purposely stop you from tuning certain cars so their not better than others.

The beetle with 300bhp Will eat alot of cars !

They have the same engine!
But not the same Engine Compartment Space... The Samba got a whole ROOM behind there :)

It's also rear-engined so that's irrelevant.

Not to sound cocky but you can buy a ready made 300bhp engine and fit it under the decklid of a beetle 👍

Same reason why the Mach 1 can't go more than 730. When in IRL I've seen them with 800.

They don't have the same engine.

The Beetle is an 1100cc.
The Samba Bus is a 1200cc.

There's also 13 years difference between them.

If anything, you should be questioning why the Kubelwagen with its 1000cc and Schwimmwagen with its 1100cc engines both get more hp than the Beetle does.

Im pretty sure you cant get 211bhp out of a 1200cc without it going bang :sly:

the engine upgrade should put it up to 2332cc or at least 2000cc

The 13 years between doesn't really matter they kept the same engine pretty much for years! just upgraded it

doesent matter, the bug should be alowed to be tuned up to 300bhp :)
