This is a thread series for the seasonal time trials that focuses on completing the challenges (i.e. beating the gold target times) with stock versions of the cars. This means that instead of maximizing your PP with upgrades and focusing on getting the fastest laps on the in-game leaderboard, you are attempting to complete the challenges with the bare minimum amount of 'car' and money-spent as is possible.

With the new more open ended format means that part of the challenge will be finding a stock car that has the lowest PP or lowest price depending on your view. It is also difficult to predict which types of tires a car will come with before purchasing.

Warning: Some of these challenges are getting to be extreme and should be approached with caution! :banghead:

In order to participate your car must be stock.

1) A stock car is essentially any car as it is when purchased from the dealership or won as a prize: it will have had no modifications, added parts, or adjustments done that affect how the car performs.
2) No oil changes are permitted: if you have had an oil change you must wait until the effects of the HP boost have been removed by driving over 300 km.
3) You must use the original tire type that came with the car, unless dirt or snow tires are required.
4) No changes to any “Car Settings” are permitted: they must ALL be left at their default values. [Note: cars that come with Fully Customizable Suspension that were purchased or won prior to patch 1.11 must have the suspension settings restored to default in order to be updated with the new stock suspension settings.]
5) No SRF or ASM is permitted: other “Driver Assists” are permitted.

Basically, the ONLY changes you may make to a car include: painting the car and changing a car’s racing number. Any other changes means your car is not stock.

Stock A-Spec Seasonals #26:

Beginners' Level Front-Wheel Drive Challenge: Roma - 450 PP - SH
Intermediate Level 4WD Challenge: Apricot Hill - 500 PP - SH
Expert Level Front Engine, Rear-Wheel Drive Challenge: Big Willow - 500 PP - SS

The Stock Seasonal Spreadsheet:

A few members have begun a leaderboard of sorts where individuals will be able to input their info into a public document. This is not so much a competition as a way to compare all sorts of data. At this point the data that is recorded for entries is as follows:

PP - Best Lap - Total Time - Car - Tires - Drive - Power - Weight - Rabbit - Rabbit Total Time

Link to the GTP Stock Seasonal Spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kDEW2OWUxHfq9PTR4G4-HKXl3veLfq0sXhvwiPYMUGw/

Notes about the Spreadsheet:
Tabs will generally be ordered with the newest seasonal events at the left.
Gold times are ordered based first on PP (lowest PP at the top), and then total time.
Bronze and Silver times are ordered based solely on total time (fastest time at the top): these entries will be grayed out.
If you are comfortable with entering your info please do so.
Only create one entry per car for your best total time for that car.
To add an empty line: right click (PC) on a gray row number box and select add a row above or below.
If you make a mistake or change something you did not mean to change hit undo once or a few times.

20150604 seasonals

Had a dash at Rome first. Get the FF pain out of the way early...

Used a Mitsubishi FTO GPX form 1994 - which I must have used before as it was in some Gunmetal Green... Winning battle paint I guess from a previous seasonal.

450pp FF at Rome
Car felt good for a FF - but after all the LM spec cars and the Peugeot VGT the little FTO felt very slow indeed!

FTO GPX '94 - 400pp - 197bhp - 1170kg - FF - CS
1m29.343 - 4m49.123 - Vectra V32V6 '03 4m51.3(+2.440)

==============
AHR - It is the Pirate's favourite track - Apricot Hill Raceway - Ahr! (Yar!) - I'll get my Hook.
500PP 4WD at Apricot Hill Raceway
I had a dash first in a Sport Soft shod 3000GT VR4 turbo (Left hand drive!) which was A nice blast from the past but it isn't stock...

The Lancer Evolution GSR form 1992 is - Got it in Sant Amour Green.

Race was pretty easy - the track is so very wide,

Lancer Evoluton GSR '92 - 428pp - 245bhp - 1240kg 4WD - SH
1m41.220 - 8m52.018 - Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nur (R34) 8m52.4 (H.Aparicio)

=====

Jack Rabbit Springs - Expert - FR. Limited to 500pp.
500PP FR at Willow Springs International Raceway

I expected this to be very hard indeed. After the Manly Macho Oykot 642R racecar event.
I picked the car that always stands out, the RX7. This is everything a FF car isn't and being able to steer a car in the corners - balance the car with a dab of oppo.

Mazda RX7 - Type RS-R (FD) '97 441pp - 262bhp - 1280kg - SH
1m27.713 - 8m00.218 - Dodge Viper GTS '02 - 8m00.239 (+0.021)
(His bumper was level with my front axel)

This was great fun - DId I have enough car to reel in the leader? Wasn't sure at the start... then I was sure I would catch the leader on the final lap. But could I weave through the traffic? Some were awkward, so I lost time taking looping lines - but that is the fun bit. Having to go fast and clean when you are off the driving groove. The AI are all on SS tyres.
1m31.538/1m30.375/1m28.675/1m27.713/1m27.901

The Viper was like a second coat of paint as it closed the gap and we went side by side into turn 8 (The Sweeper) and then I just toughed it out on the outside to outbrake the Viper into the final Turn (9) and just hold out for the win.
A Viper GTS as a prize car... and all I have to do is drive to the Palmdale Hotel and pick it up... So a trip down Rosamund Boulevard then onto the Aerospace Freeway down through Lancaster and onto Palmdale itself - Even I could not get lost...

==========

efini Mazda RX7 - Type R (FD) '91 434pp - 252bhp - 1260kg - SH
1m28.804 - 8m03.710 - Jaguar XKR-S - 8m04.124 (E.de Bruijn - Stalwart of the 20 miles of Willow Springs Super licence event) (+0.414)

efini Mazda RX7 - Type R (FD) '91 434pp - 252bhp - 1260kg - SH
1m28.308 - 7m59.335 - Viper GTS '02 - 7m59.661 (I.Moreno) (+0.326)

had two goes in this version of the RX7 - for some reason I kept in higher gears a lot (4th when I should have been in 3rd) the power seems to fizzle out at high revs, but the car is good fun, and once you get the feel it is nice to balance the car - too much steering and you bleed off speed, too little and you drift out wide. But that balance lets you run side by side.
I tended to get into the lead at the end of lap 4 or the start of lap5 - and the chasers are polite enough to run side by side - but take care if you run the outside line at the sweeper there is not much room between perfect line and a trip into the sand.

I am starting this new set of races with an Italian car on an Italian circuit...

Beginners' Level Front-Wheel Drive Challenge: Roma - 450 PP - SH
349PP
- 1:36.818 - 5:09.190 - Fiat Punto HGT Abarth '00 - CS - FF - 128hp - 1100kg - Honda Prelude Type S '98 - 5:09.577

This was surprisingly easy and I expect to see a bunch more cars with even lower PP ratings successfully complete this race before the deadline. Now on to the Intermediate Challenge...

I had no idea what to use for this one as I'm not the biggest fan of stock 4WD vehicles as so many have terribly balanced F/R Torque distribution, so I settled on the S3 and I must say it wasn't particularly impressive as it is simply too heavy to be effective for this PP range IMO. Nevertheless I managed to win the race on the 3rd attempt after back-to-back runners up trophies...

Intermediate Level 4WD Challenge: Apricot Hill - 500 PP - SH
406PP
- 1:42.301 - 8:56.776 - Audi S3 '02 - CS - 4WD - 210hp - 1420kg - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII GSR '03 - 8:57.105

Next up the Expert Challenge...

Again, in keeping with the Beginner Challenge I went with a car from the same country as the circuit and jumped in the Mustang Cobra for this one...

Expert Level Front Engine, Rear-Wheel Drive Challenge: Big Willow - 500 PP - SS
476PP
- 1:26.971 - 7:55.361 - Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R '00 - SH - FR - 365hp - 1628kg - SRT Viper SRT10 Coupe '06 - 7:55.438

Only took a couple of attempts (mainly to get a clean run through traffic) for this one so I think this can definitely be improved upon quite a bit. I look forward to seeing what some of the faster drivers come up with. Have fun. 👍

Cheers. :)

There's a few cars under 349PP that do come with CS tires, which does make the difference between winning and not winning for me. I brought out my own 349PP car (the cheapest sub-350PP FF car with CS tires, though not the lowest-PP one) and survived a wild 4-way battle with a 1998 Honda Prelude Type S (started on the pole, finished 4th), 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GTS (started 2nd, finished 2nd) and 2002 Mini Cooper S (started 4th, finished 3rd) on the 3rd lap. The Prelude, which lost the lead to me coming out of the final turn of lap 2, twice rammed me on the final lap, and the 4 cars were within 1.2 seconds of each other at the end.

Beginners' Level Front-Wheel Drive Challenge: Roma - 450PP - SH
349PP -
1'38.956 - 5'16.271 - Honda Civic 1500 3door 25i '83 - CS - FF - 97hp - 815kg - Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GTS '03 - 5'16.667

I originally thought the 1989 Mitsubishi Galant 2.0 DOHC Turbo VR-4 could cut it, but the CS tires, ancient suspension, ham-fisted driving, and Skylines out front doomed my efforts, and I finished well back. I couldn't get there with the 1998 Toyota Celica GT-Four (ST205), also on CS tires, either, finishing 3 seconds back behind the 2012 Subaru S206 rabbit. I resorted to most everybody's first "real" car in GT4/GT5, which comes with SH tires.

Intermediate Level 4WD Challenge: Apricot Hill - 500PP - SS
428PP
- 1'40.010 - 8'51.944 - Mitsubishi Lancer Rvolution GSR '92 - SH - 4WD - 245hp - 1,240kg - Subaru S206 NBR Challenge Package '12 - 8'52.554

I'm terrible at Willow Springs, so I went for the cheap 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS. I actually passed the Viper on the 4th lap, but I had a couple of off-track excursions. I got the inside on the final turn to take back the lead though.

Expert Level Front Egnine, Rear-Wheel Drive Challenge: Big Willow - 500PP - SS
498PP
- 1'26.003 - 7'51.641 - Chevrolet Camaro SS '10 - SH - FR - 427hp - 1,755kg - SRT Viper SRT10 Coupe '06 - 7'52.042

MINI seems to be good on the Rome track, all that mass doesn't seem to pose any problem.

The first try (first with a stock car) I had a terrible second lap and didn't want to block the Clio to the line and was second. After a couple of restarts did the listed race. Lap 3 had pretty good draft, though the Clio got a healthy gap during the long run to the kink.

Beginners' Level Front-Wheel Drive Challenge: Roma - 450PP - SH
343PP
- 1'37.564 - 5'14.135 - MINI COOPER '02 - CM - FF - 112hp - 1115 kg - Clio R.S. 2.0 16V '02 - 5'14.345

Expert Level Front Engine, Rear-Wheel Drive Challenge: Willow Springs International - 500PP - SS
429PP
- 1m31.147 - 8m14.385 - Mazda RX-8 Type S '07- CS - 248hp - 1310kg - M5 '08 - 8m13.7??
429PP - 1m31.289 - 8m15.361 - Mazda RX-8 Type S '07- CS - 248hp - 1310kg - M5 '08 - 8m08.930
429PP - 1m30.961 - 8m15.952 - Mazda RX-8 Type S '07- CS - 248hp - 1310kg - M5 '08 - 8m15.317

I finished in 2nd, 3rd and 2nd. I noticed on my third go that I mucked up the first couple of laps (Run wide, overcook and slide through corner) - but I didn't expect the leader to be so off the pace to let me reel him in. But I could only close the car to touching distance, 1st race I was side by side into the last corner but had to back out so as not to run into him -

Not sure the reason why the leaders "went off the boil" in the 1st and 3rd race but were happy to blow me into the weeds in the second race.

A slow early lap to let them take a mid race snooze before you put on the lead filled racing boots and turn up the talent?

Whatever - it is quite a fun way to get credits if slightly annoying as I just can't get the final Hollywood ending... yet.

429PP - 1m30.353 - 8m12.056 - Mazda RX-8 Type S '07- CS - 248hp - 1310kg - M5 '08 - 8m12.096

Made a mess of lap 1, not on purpose, then drove better on lap 2 then had a nice run for the final 3 laps. I managed to catch the Back bumper of the Big Beemer at the Budweiser Balcony (Attack of the Killer B's!) but then he seemed to remember the "Go faster" button on his M5. I drafted into the sweeper and was good for a pass into turn 9. I over clubbed it and ran up high off line but on the return back I baulked the M5, he gathered himself drew along side, but not along side enough.
My laps - 34.195/31.814/30.452/31.326/30.353
J.Avila - 36.076/37.089/38.068/41.546/36.801
A win for Hiroshima for Wankel and for Comfort Tyres!

Had some time so thought I would give these another go...

Beginners' Level Front-Wheel Drive Challenge: Roma - 450 PP - SH
334PP
- 1:39.621 - 5:17.308 - Opel Tigra 1.6i '99 - CM - FF - 104hp - 1032kg - Honda Prelude Type S '98 - 5:17.435

I still think this one can go lower just not sure what car to try.

Cheers. :)

450PP FF at Roma:
359PP
- 1:36.270 - 5:10.760 - VW Golf GTI '76 - CS - FF - 107hp - 620kg - C5 V6 Exclusive '03 - 5:11.170

Once again the AI are rather pugnacious blighters for beginners. The C5 rammed me into the wall on my first attempt and tried it again on the second, but this time I was ready for him.

500PP 4WD at Apricot Hill:
458PP
- 1:36.552 - 8:31.031 - Hyundai CLIX '01 - SH - 4WD - 299hp - 1320kg - Impreza Sedan WRX STI version III '96 - 8:31.947

Fired up the quattro for my first go at this but comfort tyres and maybe a tough grid meant 5th place so I switched to the Clix. It's a nice drive - handles well and has lots of power but takes some stopping once it gets going.

500PP FR at Big Willow:
455PP
- 1'28.003 - 8:03.769 - Shelby 350R '65 - SH - FR - 305hp - 1268kg - M5 '08 - 8:04.166

American muscle seemed appropriate so first up were the Mercury Cougar and Tempest GTO, both around 460PP and SH. And both very enjoyable cars apart from suffering from the muscle car curse and running out of steam at 120mph. It spoils it a bit when you have to keep one eye on the speedo to avoid hitting the limiter when you're hammering into the last bend. Good for second place only. Next I tried the Plymouth Cuda 440. This one is stockyard bound. Terrible car, despite being nearly 20PP higher than the previous two. Never hit the limiter because it wasn't fast enough to get there.
I felt the Shelby was a sure-fire winner and hesitated as to whether to go for the "R" version. I think I needed that extra 1PP in the end.

@Ryk Top job in the Mazda on CS. I think you're a little confused though. This is GT6 not GTA 5. You'll have to get your Viper delivered. I think I've explored the entire perimeter of Willow Springs and there's no way out. Even if you get past the fence the dogs will have you. Mind you being stuck here for eternity doesn't seem too bad when I've got an E-Type and and a 250 GT Berlinetta to keep me amused.

Always liked this track - It was in one of the early Herbie films (Maybe the first one - The Love Bug?)

I just fell lucky with the RX8 - I was just taking a step down from the 1991 RX-7 - saw the RX8 and bought it... took it to the track and was "Well no chance of a win here!" But the AI just gifted it to me. BUT you still have to pedal pretty firmly on the last lap and Comfy tyres don't give you much margin if you do lock up a wheel - but that is the fun.

Has got a bit of a Blaine County feel about the place though!

I still think this one can go lower just not sure what car to try.

450PP FF at Roma:
334PP
- 1:43.043 - 5:25.003 - Nissan Leaf G '11 - CS - FF - 107hp - 1520kg - Mini Cooper S '05 - 5:25.151

Not lower but equal. Quite a bit slower than the Tigra though so bodes well for the AI being beaten by a lower PP car. I tried the little Abarth A112 but was soundly beaten. I like the Leaf. 50:50 weight distribution means it handles really nicely for a FF. I was disappointed it didn't feature in the Academy this year.

500PP FR at Big Willow:
454PP
- 1:31.631 - 8:17.417 -Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta '61 - CS - FR - 275hp - 960kg - SL 55 AMG (R230) '02 - 8:17.748

I accumulated a large collection of runners-up trophies on the way to this and was beginning to wonder if I'd ever do it. Found a very tardy rabbit in the Merc (M. Sano) and it was still a close shave. This car is an absolute joy to drive here.

Edit-
When I parked up the Ferrari in the garage right next to it was the Stingray. Same era, similar specs. I had to see how it shaped up compared to Maranello's finest. I fully expected the Ferrari to come out tops but actually there wasn't much in it. Surprisingly the 'vette seemed better in the corners but couldn't match the Ferrari for acceleration and top speed. The Stingray is nearly a decade younger (I suppose a fairer comparison would be with a C2 but that's a no contest) and it's on its home turf. It might be different on a twisty Alpine road.

455PP
- 1:31.468 - 8:15.569 - Corvette Stingray Convertible (C3) '69 - CS - FR - 298hp - 1552kg - Viper GTS '99 - 8:15.884

Representing the UK we have the Jag. One third the price of a 250 GT back then, more like a hundredth now. But it's shod with SH here so can match the pace. I tried it on CS and got second place against the same grid but there can be a big difference between second and winning in this race. About 10s in this case.

439PP
- 1:31.324 - 8:18.100 - Jaguar E-Type Coupe '61 - SH - FR - 264hp - 1219kg - Viper GTS '02 - 8:18.195

FAIL

After I bought the Tom's Chaser at the same PP level I had hoped to get a nice Basho of these oiled up Sumotori from the 90's ...
...
But alas The Chaser is too "Race car" - The GT-R? No idea how, but this car felt awfully slow. The Comfort tyres are not really the issue, the lack of grunt from the engine when you get over 90mph felt like the culprit. - The car really struggles to get a head of steam up. In the corners it has a level of understeer that is Typical of any Nismo LM car. It sounds pretty awful too!

The Aston sounded great and was almost as nice as I remembered from the first GT. It isn't that fast but knowing you have bullet proof glass and tricksy rotating numberplates....
what do you mean that was the DB5...
oh, I'd better call Universal Exports before I get in any more trouble.

TVR - like a lazy Labrador. The engine churning out a fat torque curve the lightness of the car lets it corner quite well and make up for the lazy engine.

AHR - it be the Apricot Hill Raceway. Splice the main brace and be preparing for boarders.

Ran a 98 GTO Twin Turbo in Shiver me Timber Green. (Actually I raced in Galaxy White Pearl - but we couldn't be finding the Black pearl, That pantaloon wearing brigand, Captain Jack Sparrow, must be sailing her.)

453pp - 1m41.766 - 8m56.345 - Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo '98 - CS - 314hp - 1680kg - LanEvo8GSR - 8m57.016

I have always liked the look of this car but it is such a donkey with Comfort tyres and all that blubber. Still means you just have to drive better-er than the AI. All in all quite an easy win and I am not too sure what I am blubbering about.

This was looking pretty much like any other race here, chase them down take the lead, get the win. But the Viper SRT10 of E. Mayer had other ideas and he tracked me through turn 8 then pulled a sweet pass up the inside into the final turn 9 ... I had a nice view of the bumper (Nice sticker "SRT Happens") as it eased away from me, to cross the line.

471PP - 1m27.758 - 7m59.578 - Toyota Supra RZ '97 - SH - 325hp - 1510kg -SRT10 '06 - 8m59.584

I decided to play double or quits with the Austrian guy in the American car... I didn't make a great first lap but thenI was reeling them in , got the lead at the end of lap 4 and the Viper was following me but this time I was solid in turn 8 and smooth in turn 9 the viper dipped out of my mirrors and
and
and...
I got the win... by 0.006 of a second.

However when I watched the replay, the Viper moved out to overtake, then as he closed the gap he dropped to half throttle for a moment or two when the road was clear and we were side by side both running straight ahead lines no danger of hitting. I only won by 8 inches or so. I guess this lift cost him much more than that.

Mystified why the AI would lift with victory in sight.

(I can't spell - Edit)

That's easy for you to say. ;) Yeah the car is very easy to drive and it makes the track seem easy but I think this track only comes to life when you're struggling for grip, always right on the edge of losing it, and you don't get that feeling in the FT-86 at all. I didn't get the win in it though. Like you say it's easy getting to the front but very hard staying there. I'd had enough and decided that I'd have one more go and just shamelessly block him out at the end to get it over with. My first lap was a stormer, two seconds faster than normal, and from then on everything panned out perfectly and I took the lead before the end of lap 4. I thought it might actually be on this time, but blocking for a whole lap proved too much and the end result was the same as always.
More fun, and about the same level of difficulty (i.e. I couldn't do it) was the S2000 on CS.

Mystified why the AI would lift with victory in sight.

I'm mystified at nearly everything the AI do. Perhaps he sneezed.

Did your replay give any clues as to why he would make that move? Possibly to avoid hitting you, or you hitting him? Where are you two guys in relation to the rabbitline?

Dropped in to give you guys a huge thumbs-up for the great job you are doing in here test-piloting these cars stock and letting us know what works and what doesn't. 👍
This is great info when one is trying to match up a vehicle for a close race.

I think the "Mystical" AI helps give a close finish...

Why did he slow down. I exited the corner and move to the left middle of the track - to avoid the pit lane entry - I'd say I was on the left side of the racing line as usually I tend to exit and set up for the next corner very early on the straights - so usually I'd be blasting along the far right hand side of the track. But Why the Viper lifted...not sure, it is odd as the previous race the stripey git made such a clean pass I thought I was watching a replay of myself.

I used my car from the Ascari Seasonal (Currently Ryk is the slowest in the world with a blistering time of 39m59.044 - Next best is 7m33 faster... but he used ABS=1 - pah )
Quite like the look to this car. Time maybe slow as I was listening to a podcast by a laydee comic about feminism... Always amusing to hear a different point of view. Ironically the MP3 for the podcast doesn't mention her name at all, but it is covered with her husbands name... Christina ... Paulizkua... She burps a lot "That's Deep Bro" -(edit - Christina Pazsitzky)

Anyhow I guess there is a whole heap of time to be found in this pocket rocket.

Anyone else Notice former World Rally Champion, Ari Vatanen in a TVR Griffith at Willow Springs? He must be driving passengers as I am sure I could go faster in my Griffith...

A bit of perseverance paid off in the end. Had a few close seconds including another one where I got to the front with a lap to spare only to be passed a few feet from the line. The trick here is not to find a rabbit who's slow overall, the race times are always similar, but to find one who doesn't speed up dramatically when threatened. This grid had the two Mercs, SL55 and SL600, and a Lexus up front so I thought I had a good chance. Hadn't reckoned on the Corvette (D.Stone) who came storming up from fourth spot once I'd passed them. I gave it another couple of goes hoping one of them would hold up the Corvette long enough for me to get an adequate lead but on the the third attempt, coming into turn 1 on lap 4, Stone went flying off into the bush leaving me just two slow-coaches to deal with. Actually Sano in the SL 55 made a bit of a fight of it but the others, including the Corvette, were >10s back.
Now there is the later S2000 which is a few PP lower but I think I've had enough of Willow Springs for now.

I don't think that's Ari in the TVR. It's his Aunt Agnetha.

The first race I thought I had it in the bag, nice solid laps, no mucking about and I had the V12 in my sights. Got a good pass at the Balcony and drove mistake free, but Sugiyama just dropped the hammer and breezed passinto the the Sweeper and I didn't get close in the final corner.

Second try I was all over the show, and the AI seemed to be in the way, so every corner was off line or compremised in some fashion but the gap closed with the top 5 in melee combat side by side and only the Aston of Sugiyama was not in any danger. I managed to get through the combat but Now I was behind the Aston heading into the Sweeper - but I made the pass, got along side and Sugiyama lifted and chickened out of going side by side. ( Extra annoying as I left enough room for us both, If I had known he was going to lift I could have used the full width.
I then thought I was in with a chance... but the Aston swiftly closed the gap on my Silky Black concept car. 0.002 - too close... I thought I had lost it, but I had a ton of fun just getting into the lead. but somehow I held on for the win.
Replay... the Aston lifted with clean air between us. I guess a win is a win, and I should be smug that I didn't need to weave about or block/impede the car behind .... but these "nearly wins" drive you to try again, try harder.

The car - loads of grip, If you find the line you can take a hell of a lot of speed in places. Not sure why this has Sport tyres and a Big Powerful GTO has Comforts -

Nice enough car - engine note isn't the throaty boxer I'm used to hearing - and the horn... More akin to what Maggie Simpson is used to in the opening titles of "The Simpsons."

5 gears - quite powerful, fairly light, Very forgiving to drive. - I'm watching the replay and I torture the poor tyres, four wheel drifting like a tool! For some reason I got the car in Red... 270,000 credits - may treat the car to some fresh paint.

This felt so good. Car just too fast to take the sweeper flat out. Which lets that Viper fill the mirrors. And the way it skips and skitters over the bumps in the track.
- it is my third most used car after the Rocket and the Cerbera Speed 12.

Did this one last week and forgot to post. Easy winner and enjoyable as always.

Nice car. Like a poor man's M3. Nothing outstanding but performs pretty well in all departments and was fast enough to keep the Vantage at bay and avoid the usual last lap frustration.

This could be a contender for ugliest car in the game, which may explain why I've never bothered with it before, but as they say looks can be deceiving. Plenty of power and light weight (P/W ratio suggests nearer 450PP) and its short wheelbase means it's very eager to turn. It will hit the limiter but with a light touch will reach 128mph. With slightly longer gears it would be superb here but as it is it's a pretty fine car. Against stiffer opposition I did sub-8 minute races with best laps in the 27s but the faster you go the faster they go, and it didn't quite have the pace to hold back the faster rabbits. They never seem to lift just before the line for me.
