I'm getting tired of people who play this game and just go and get the Skyline and soupe it up to the max with 1000+Hbp and there like look at my car its so fast . Come here and talk about your stock car testing and chat wit others who like this as well if u modify ur car good it shouldn't always have to have all the max parts and stuff but anyways.
 
Most of my cars are maxed out. But. I don't put it all on. Eg My RGT has all mods. Only when I need them I'll use them. Like when my oil goes bad in a series championship. That way I can keep good Hp throughout the Series with out being able to lose it in a blink of an eye.
 
You should try and soupin the cars to the perfect modification not all maxed out and everything like that its way more fun that way

It adds that competition. I really enjoy that. Like I did the Tokyo R246 Enduro with my RGT. Second and third place were like only a couple of seconds behind. I love that type of competition.
 
Ya that gets me mad too I know someone who all his cars in his garage are all maxed out and stuff and he like ill beat any of your cars i'm like ok and beat him wit a car thats equal to his
 
today i got myself a stock 240sx and i love it a other car i like is the rx7 s2000 stock aswell i race them (testing) on Laguna Seca course its so fun u should try it

I've got a few moderately modified cars (the top five or so cars in terms of distance in my garage are all modified street cars) and prefer them over the fully modded ones for the majority of the time.

My 3414.4 km's 585 hp Nismo Skyline GT-R S-Tune (R32), 3239.1 km's 595 hp Nissan 300zx TwinTurbo 2seater, 3197.2 km's, 311 hp Honda Integra Type R, 2623.0 km's 517 hp Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R all share the 'My most favourite car in GT3' crown.

There's not a single car (apart from the F1 cars) which i hate in this game and i like each of my 199 cars in it's own special way. The majority of them are only very slightly tuned or not tuned at all.

Out of that 199 cars only 29 of them are race cars! Plus about 36 Nissan Skylines makes up that list.

Slightly modified cars to me are like they would be 'on the street'. It does happen, but you don't see 1000 hp modified cars driving around every day - those of lesser tunes are more likely to be seen and that's how i go about modifying cars in the game.

I'm rambling on about nothing so i suppose i'd better go try break my R34 GT-R V-Spec II's 0:09.006 400m time into the eights... (see spot races forum in the online racing forum)
 
There are a couple of cars where the only modification I've done is to add better tires and a stage 1 weight reduction, but those usually don't get used in actual races. They're more for experimenting with track lines or just trying out new things.

Most cars I actually race with go through fairly heavy tuning, though I never take a car up over 500-600 HP. The majority of them aren't designed or set up to handle more power than that efficiently.

  • No slang words that promote laziness, ie; "r", "u", "plz", etc.

Most of my cars are only mildly upgraded. I usually start with tires, then move to suspension and very mild engine work, then drivetrain, and lastly to big power (if I do that at all). Like Delray mentioned above (hi, bud), most high-power street cars don't deal with the power very well. Once you get above about 600 hp, you're better off switching to a race car rather than fully building the street car. There are of course exceptions (the RGT, for example), but in general, downforce makes for a more fun drive than an additional 200 or 300 hp would.
 
All of my cars are modded to the max, but sometimes I will take parts off my cars so I can use them in races with slower cars, so that I don't leave them in the dust.
 
Ya i love moderately modified cars there so real unlike those 1000hp cars but ya I also love all the cars in the game in their own way i love the rx7 stock its such a fast car.
 
I rarely mod my cars past weight reduction, sport tyres and all motor mods. And these come after amature races. I found better opponents with sport tyres, I think the game decides your opponents based on tyres owned for the car. I.E. the american championships will pin you against a C5-R and the Oreca Viper... Also, I am finding a lot of little jewels that I would have never concidered great cars such as the MS Elise. With the MS Elise I can do the World Champ, Dream Champ, All Star and JGTC in Amature with sport tyres. Of coarse my Elise only has full weight reduction, all motor upgrades, Sport brakes, (no ballance controler), the top clutch, fly wheel and Adj tranny. This car is so well ballanced I dont touch the dif or suspension.
 
Thats cool me and my friend take all the cars test them out stock and then we consider modifying them to our liking ya racing tires and weight reduction make a big difference wit the cars
 
Some fun stock racing I enjoy include the 24v Cilo's, Elise in pro , and believe it or not the Beattle Cup cars in Beg are a blast stock. I can afford to keep stock tyres even in the rear tyre eater cars like the Cilo and Elise by learning to drive them to not eat tyres. Little things like avoid trail braking, (when possible) and wear the fronts a little very early in the first race.
 
Also, drafting is a huge when pinning yourself against much more powerful opponents. My RZ RX7 has around 360 hp, (all mtr mods, no turbo, no intercooler) and I can win Fr and the two road coarses in Turbo monster in Pro. This car has never seen racing tyres, just sport.

the only car i have thats maxed out is the escudo PP version at 1673 ponies, i use that and try to get fastest time around test course. Personally, i think RGT is the best stock car, its quiet challenging when racing in the PD cup with skylines, i come head to head with them. My drift cars, AE86,S13,S14,S15,RX7s are all stock with Sim tires.
 
Ya thats cool someone else enjoys stock or a few modifications on there cars and also I wanna get in that Weekly series

I usually use T2s unless I want to pit a lot to make a more interesting race.

I don't understand the people who like to stay on Sports, because in real racing, the first thing you're allowed to upgrade - even if you're not allowed to touch anything else - is the tires. It's all about where the rubber meets the road, so why not have good rubber? Get the most out of the car before you start upgrading the systems.
 
Ya same here i usualy use those mediums but the sim tires whats the difference i never really used those?
 
Sim tires are for drifting. They have less grip than even the normal tires.
 
Oh cool thx cus i love the good tires not the sports like you were saying the first thing is tires, its true they help so much
