Good morning folks, good to see the GT2 community still looking healthy as ever :)

Now, I'm putting the defibrillators on to resuscitate my Area GT blog (linked in the sig, shameless plug :sly:), and before my latest absence I started up an all-time leaderboard for machine tests with stock cars, so when I test cars in the 400/1000m/Top Speed disciplines, I note down the records and put them up on the leaderboard posts. I'm aware there's been plenty of machine test challenges and leaderboards before, but has there ever been one for completely stock cars? If there wasn't before, there is now.

So so far I've posted up the results from the tests of the 3-4 cars from GT2 I've reviewed, but I want to throw this aspect open to you guys here. You can get involved and help build the leaderboard rapidly. Basically, all you'd need to do is buy a car of your choice, and go STRAIGHT to the Machine Tests section. Don't touch anything on the car - no change tyres, no tweaking with settings, nothing. Just take it straight to the test track, and ring it's neck in the disciplines of your choice.

Then submit the time here, prefrebly with video proof, although I trust you guys enough not to tweak stuff. I'll probably only demand evidence if the time is completly out of whack with what the car is actually capable - for example, getting 200+mph out of a Honda CRX will cause my eyebrows to go flying clean off my face 👎 Also, for the 400m/1000m runs, please submit the time along with the trap speed, i.e. the speed the car was going when it crossed the finish line.

I'll add your results to the leaderboard at Area GT, and you'll be credited with the run. I'd like to put down real names as opposed to just usernames, so if you want post your real name next to them, but I totally understand if you'd rather not, so that's not mandatory.

Cheers Karelpipa! That's awesome, great to see results coming in straight away. Just as an aside, I forgot to add it to the original post, but could you include the trap speed on the 400m/1000m tests? As in, the speed it's doing as the car crosses the finish line. Thanks, I'll post those up on the blog :)

Thanks man, I appreciate it. My bad, probably should've mentioned that in the original post, but it slipped my mind. It's been edited now :)

What's going on Falcoln? There's so many cars I could put on here from my website, but the thing is I test them from idle to redline (sometimes a bit beyond redline) I don't try to search out the absolute best times usually because it would take forever/dozens of acceleration tests would have to be attempted.

Maybe I'll add to the database, though. It would take a lot of cut & Paste action, and can't do it right now.

I've got a few to add, but they're all driven stock with AT and I didn't record trap speed... to save space, format is:
