Stock (not NASCAR) online problem

I tried to enter my Lambo640 in a stock tuned room, with weight and hp restrictions. I turned off all mods (ECU,exhaust,intake,turbos), and even though the numbers matched, I was forbidden entry, as my car had an engine tune Stage 3 done to it. So, even if the numbers for hp and weight match, that engine tuning upgrade will nix your car for online "stock" races.
 
Yes, but we're kinda pooched if we want to use that car in that race, as there is no way to undo an engine mod, even if you roll the performance back to stock. I don't have many Stage 1-2-3 mods done (thank whoever), but I'll have to rebuy some expensive cars. No warning given, either.
 
That does suck but with just matching the numbers your torque numbers are way beyond stock. I have a bunch of double. 1 for full race and 1 completly stock.
