Gauging interest in a stock/spec Datsun 240z series...

Specifically:

645. S Nissan 240ZG (HS30) ‘71
668. S Nissan Fairlady 240ZG (HS30) ‘71

I would have liked for them to stay stock the first go around, but for whatever reason the these don't always come with the same power stock (sometimes 155hp, sometimes 152hp). Since these are hard enough to come by in the UCD, I propose that any car unable to make the full 155hp get spec'd with a racing air filter (159hp 1010kg 387pp) while those making 155 get spec'd with a sports air filter (159hp 1010kg 388pp).

Additional possibility: Allow the #670 S Nissan Fairlady Z 280Z-L 2seater (S130) ‘78 to participate (with the following mods: racing air filter, sports cat, stage 2 weight reduction, window weight reduction -- for a total of: 159hp 1092kg 387pp)

In the same old school vein, I also propose racing the four tracks found in all 5 GTs:

1) Grand Valley
2) Trial Mountain
3) Deep Forest
4) Special Stage Route 5

Finally, I propose that that the number of laps be strategically chosen for each track so that people have the option of either trying to conserve tires and running all the way without a pit stop or driving 10/10ths and taking on a set of tires half-way through.

Thoughts?

I'd love to do it. Looking to get into the world of online racing, and i also love cars like these. Only problem will be getting the car, because as you said, they are hard to come by. The tracks you listed are some of my favorites, this could be a ton of fun. Let me know if you find other people.

I'd like to get in on this. I love stock/spec races and the classics Z's are great cars. The only thing I don't like is Special Stage Route 5 but I can live with it. Hope you get this going.

Oooo depending on day and time I'd be interested!

Would people prefer different tracks? Maybe Laguna Seca and Tsukuba instead of SSr5 and Deep Forest?

Any tracks are alright with me. But racing the four classic made-up GT tracks would be interesting. I'm up for anything though.
