So after one of the patches (I think it was 1.09), PD changed the physics and stock suspension settings. But now all my cars that are stock are handling horribly so that means I have to reset the suspension setting to default. But because they're stock, I can't reset them. Is there any way to reset them to the suspension settings? Do I need to buy a fully adjustable suspension kit or do I need to re-buy the car?

There's a Reset to Default> segment in the suspension settings area. (This was new and showed as part of the update). Just click there and you'll see it changes things to whatever the new default has been set to

But as I said, the stock suspension doesn't change to the new default settings.

The only new settings that were added to [some of] the stock suspension are in the camber and toe, so nothing else will change.

How about trying this - buy the fully adjustable suspension then set to default. Think you will find the values match the new default stock suspension values

First note down the stock ride height
Then as @SkiwiNV says -Buy the fully custom suspension
Return the ride height to stock setting, once this is done change the rear toe to 0.20, set the camber to 0.0, set all the dampers to 1 and that should be as close to pre 1.09 as you can get.

(Rear wheel drive cars are slightly speed nerfed and rear heavy cars are slightly more stable than before but apart from that the only things that changed as stock were the camber and toe settings)

What I'm reading is that the cars purchased before the patch that did the whole suspension foul-up still retain their original (pre-update) suspension settings without a suspension upgrade having been purchased, and now those original settings don't conform to the game's current idea of stock and no longer gel with the new physics (not that the new stock settings do either...) or tuning-prohibited guidelines.
Assuming this is the problem, the only (read as: cheapest) way I know to revert to the new stock is to buy the cheapest suspension upgrade (I don't recall whether it's Racing: Soft or Rally) and then revert to the stock suspension from there. Way to go devs...
If this isn't the issue, just smile and nod as you disregard the previous.
