Stock vehicles have proper Differential Settings?

I feel like a lot of the stock vehicles in the game that (in real life) come equipped with a limited slip differential aren't behaving as such. I've noticed with several cars that in a slight slide or when turning I can lay down a patch of rubber with one only one wheel. This is a characteristic of an open differential. I realize you can buy an LSD for any vehicle in the game but if the car should already be set up that way stock this is an oversight.

Can anyone verify that stock vehicles have proper differential settings?
 
A lot of cars have incorrect stock settings, or even incorrect parts. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not.
 
I've read lots of arguments about this - here and other places.

One of the issues that often someone brings up is that sometimes they put comfort tires on a car that in real life, you would probably get it new with sports tires, not regular tires. But in the game, you're given comfort tires in the stock condition. If that makes sense...

I'm not sure how this relates... because I'm no expert on tires/cars. BUT, I can tell you that I feel the need to get full LSD & tinker with it on MOST cars... but that could be just me.
 
PD is to lazy for that.
