Stolen Subaru Impreza drifter filmed on the M25

So some vandals stole this JapSpeed Subaru Impreza drifter from Santa Pod raceway, and then took it down the M25 (London ring road) for a quick blast.

Luckily, it has been located and recovered by an online posse.

Yes, people could steal a car that they wouldn't be easily located in, but what fun would that be.

Quite a few people on my Facebook posted about this, apparently they had started to strip it when it was recovered!

Sort of makes me want to see a Formula 1 get stolen and the criminals take it on a highway. What audacious footage that would hopefully provide.

They got into it on a stand at Santa Pod Raceway and drove off. The car has no key ignition, just a bunch of switches.

That's quite amazing. Also what's funny is when you play the BBC video in the above article, watch it all and then as soon as it ends click to the beginning again. Sounds like he's calling the guy who stole it something.

I think these guys knew that they would be caught after stealing the car.
