What the hell is the logic in ending your post with your username?Do you really think we can't look to the left to see your name?

What gives?

Ah hahaha.... I have asked that same question myself, and have been guilty of doing it myself as well. My own personal activities of doing this stem from the formal use of writting letters, ALWAYS ending in a salutation and my name followed by my Title, Company Name, and Phone number..

This is also a common practice I use in writing emals as well, granted it's automatic with my signature (when I use that program that utilizes that feature).

So when I do it here at GTP it's usally to give my post a more formal tone about it.

Anyway, you just have a problem with everything don't you? Like smilies and now this so called "act of terrorism".
 
Whats the logic in signing a letter? cant you just look on the envelope for the return address?

A signature, which comes at the end of a post, is defined as
"A distinctive mark, characteristic, or sound indicating identity"

Whats more distinctive than your own name?

No you have a problem with everything. What's the point of starting rant threads about petty things like if you put your name at the bottom of a post or if you use smilies. You've already called us retards once, will you do it again?

If you had half a brain, then the rest of us with full brains might laugh. And your "Ignorant" people is just everybody. If 99% of the people here don't like the way you act, that 1% is you, and you can't blame the public for your own IGNORANCE.

I think using smilies helps to show that something is meant as a joke online, since you cant see the persons facial expressions or tone of voice, which often give away a person who is joking.

However, I can't say I read your thread against smilies, so I don't know the arguments against them. I bet it is probably stupid of me to even think that you have a real argument against them though. Your argument against signatures is pretty shakey :P.

Member bashing is not a consistant part of this community. This thread is as pointless as it's pointless replys.

Klos has a question because he did not understand why people would sign their name even though it is listed under their avatar.

It is our duty to enlighten those who need clarification when it is asked of those who might have an answer.

Now that we have that under control, let's do some racin'....
