That is just :censored:d up. He gets his thread locked because mods don't like it, and also because he made a grammer error. Why no one flamed that guy who made "What's the dumbest thing you ever did?" And they didn't flame someone for making a thread with which side the toilet paper thing is on. It got over 100 replies!! A useless thread right there and people like that thread? That proves you just strongly dislike Driving Park.

Look, I closed that thread because I saw the thread title, thought to myself “Hmmm, this probably isn’t going to go too well”, looked at the replies, thought “Yup, it’s already gone downhill”, and locked it. Nothing else affected my judgement. We don’t just close threads because of what’s in the first post – if the thread as a whole looks like it’s headed for doom, that’s enough reason to close it, regardless of the original poster’s intent.

Why would I pick on Driving Park? I don’t even know who he is. I know nothing about him except that his username is Driving Park and I’ve now closed one of his threads. Why would I close a thread just because of a grammatical issue? If that were my policy, then every single thread on GTP would be locked, including my own. It was a slight attempt at irreverence to soften the blow, because I didn’t want to hurt his feelings by directly chastising him.

If you think we go to a member’s profile, click on their Threads link, and go “Mwuhahahaha, let’s see how I can screw over this sucker!”, you’re sorely mistaken.
