As of now, there are "petitions" and whines about v1.07 spilling across multiple threads in multiple forums. Yes, I know I originally called for a petition.
The more I think about it, however, the more I think the trading restrictions were a quick fix for the X2010 menace, and they may be planning to restore free trade as soon as they implement a better solution - say, confine X2010s to special rooms online, like they do with F1 and the karts 💡
So, before we start creating a million petitions and whine threads, we should make sure we're not wasting effort begging for something they already plan to give us. Wait for a couple more updates, and maybe ask Kaz on his Twitter why he did this and whether he plans to fix it. If free trade is not forthcoming, or if it's less free than it was before (i.e. still no ability to use multiple accounts for duping/trading, or car value is still limited), then we can start a petition. Until then, let's just wait and see what happens.
