Hi Everyone,

This is for all the noobs out there getting stupid advice from other stupid people who shouldn't be giving advice.

I'm sick and tired of noob using mismatched tyre as a example sport hard on the front sport soft in the rear and also want to look slow and cool and use no wing.

If your racing from 500pp to 700pp do no do the above it's slower and nobody that understands the pp system does this for reference on 90% of tracks mismatched tyre are slow and no wing is always slower because it increases the rotational gs the car have (how the game calculates the car speed and handling).

So if you actually want to improve instead of going slow and pretending your having fun ask some who's actually fast at the game instead of one of your mates who has no clue.

Hope thats clear enough.

Welcome back!

Dude, you got some very good advice from multiple people at the end of one of your last threads about how setups can be subjective. Sometimes being more relatable to the tuner than players as a whole throughout the game.

Maybe if you could be more specific about things like 'fast', or what you testing /methodly is – then others would be able to try it and even relate to it.

What is 'fast' in your opinion – the drivers going to the world finals, people topping the recent weekly online tuning challenges, people in a certain lobby /league, 'cars' that are 'best / fastest' when limited to a certain PP?

You also might want to know that mis-matched tyres are not 100% a 'PP tuning thing', this is a very easy and effective method for some people to be able to drive some cars in some situations i.e. uncontrollable lift off oversteer. This goes back to GT6 and GT Sport, so is not something new or specific for GT7 PP.

It's human nature you're gonna ask the people closest to you about getting 'help' in some / any way as they're most likely to be experiencing the same as you, both in real life and things like being online. It's also human nature alot of people are going to do the 'easy thing'.

If you're looking for some kind of recognition because you have genuinely found 'something' in the game that benefits others, or just want to generally help others then try posting it in a way that others can see / experience for themselves.

Ok, this sub forum might not be like what it used to, but there are plenty of people here who do know a lot, both about GT7 and older GT games (that have relevance in GT7). Take a look at the thread halfway down the 1st page titled “Automatic tuning tips”, plenty of good advice from people who know. Same with thread about guy changing from pad to wheel (in main GT7 sub forum) – some great advice from some very experienced people.

To be fair, your OP here is a bit better than the last one, but you should really try going back to the last posts on your previous thread and see how this relates to your grievances.

Otherwise, sorry, but you're only going to end up with notoriety doing things like this. Trust me, I know, I didn't just go down that rabbit hole but jumped in head first.

Best of luck 👍 (think you're gonna need it).

I'm not here to make friends I'm here to tell facts unfortunately most of the people on here choose to be stupid and expect good results from stupidity.

But I get what your saying.

most of the people on here choose to be stupid
Interesting comment. You're saying that most of the people on GTPlanet are, and choose to be, stupid?

Based on?

As I recall, your first thread was a call for everyone who makes "PP Tunes" to be banned - although you never said from where - and then immediately shared a PP tune. I'm not sure I'd be taking directions on who and what is stupid from someone of that kind of character.

(Hopefully in before the banhammer falls).

Fair enough, I'm not here to argue but I don't think you are 'getting it', especially when you're continuing to post stuff like that and
you haven't posted many 'facts' at all. You've posted about what your experience(s) of GT7 and this sub forum is.

Facts would be some kind of information / data that others could look at and either see what you're saying (or trying to say), or use your info / data to try and try to replicate your 'results' / claims.

Like where / how are you racing, who are you racing with (driver skills), lobby settings (tyre wear on / off), type of races etc etc. You don't seem to understand there's so many variables that can impact a 'setup' which you're not providing, or even recognising or acknowledging - but you're calling (some very experienced and knowledgeable people) 'stupid'?

You haven't even defined who or what 'fast' is - racing with top split drivers(?), driving at 500mph on route X(?), beating everyone in a specific private lobby(?), or any / all private lobbies(?), daily races(?), time trials(?)?

You might wanna chill with the insults and try posting stuff that can help others get a better idea of what you're actually doing in the game...

If you look at my post I'm referring from 500pp to 700pp so I would hope to assume people would think I'm referring to online lobbies with these settings.

Well if some is insulted by me calling them stupid then that would imply they know they are.

If somebody thinks I'm wrong they wouldn't care.

Thanks for at least taking the time out with your veiw i'll take it on board but i'll admit i'll never be a fan favourite never have been never will.

My current account is lasting_pound0 :- i mainly do 600pp online none sport mode races. I really hope somebody see this and thinks what I'm saying is stupid or untrue and thinks it would be a good idea to join a lobby I'm in.

If your not delusional and realise being slow and uncompetitive is not fun give me a message.

No, it wouldn't. It would imply that people don't like being called names.

And we don't like people calling our members names. Nor do we like it when people ignore direct questions from the site staff about their dismal behaviour:

I'm going to take this response as a "yes" to the first part and "because I'm just a generally boorish person who feels like making stuff up and adds no value to any community they are in" to the second, pending any actual answer - and I'd avoid not answering it again.

I never specifically said anyone by name is stupid.

If anyone from 500pp to 700pp is using mismatched tyres or no wing is slower on most tracks.

Just be very clear here I'm being specific to 500pp to 700pp online specifically not sport mode or offline etc.

If some is telling you that no wing and mismatched tyre are faster and will somehow improve your times that person it stupid again not naming a specific person.

I'm feeling really lazy right now, so can you upload a video to show us exactly what you mean?

Getting bored now. Answer the actual question and stop ignoring it.

Edit: No, that wasn't "ignore it some more and carry on posting".

So, you've never been a fan, strange thing to say when you joined well after I took a sabbatical? OK.

You've judged others by what you expected to see / find on here but didn't, and then insult them without taking time to try and understand why you didn't get to see what you thought you would, or needed / wanted to see.

You keep attacking people without providing simple answers to simple questions. I haven't got a clue what your goal is in posting this type of stuff here - you just raging / trolling, looking to race, teach, learn.

Is the highlighted part of your quote above is some kind of challenge / race / time trial, or if it's just an 'offer' for you to bestow (someone) with your knowledge / discoveries that will transform us from being slow and uncompetitive, as well as (ooooh nearly forgot), delusional, stupid noobs out there getting stupid advice from other stupid people from GT Planet where basically no one knows what they are talking about (deep breathe) and into tuning gods like yourself?

Your lobbies with 500-700pp, once again, general statement, no details. These lobbies are with what(?), GR1 cars or engine swapped shopping trolleys(?), road cars. race cars (GR1, GT3/4, maybe even rally cars) or what? What tyres and what regulations is the lobby set to? What kind of tracks do you race at and what are the race specs i.e. grip levels, weather, tyre wear, fuel usages, damage etc etc? What about ballast, or limited tuning?

You give very little detail but alot of verbal, which is doing nothing to make people want to communicate with you, let alone be in a lobby with you.

Maybe this is just some crazy self defence mechanism your brain has made up, so you can invite others to 'challenge' you (do it in a way where you know they will 100% refuse) and then claim to be the winner. Or if they do turn up, the cards are always stacked in your favour i.e. some 'race / challenge' that you are genuinely king at but most others are unlikely to be.

Y'know, the usual stuff hosts pull when they want to be king of the castle, but sooner or later they eventually piss so many people off no one turns up anymore, so you have to go looking for more targets, or even a new castle.....

Holy ****, wait a sec, think I've cracked it - you are the Charlie Zelenoff of GT7?!?!

:bowdown::cheers::bowdown:
:gtpflag:

I never made the claim I was some mystical fastest unbeatable racer.
Yep, correct, but you have said...
I have seen most of the tunes/build and it's clear basically no one on gt planet knows what they are talking about.

Most of the builds from this forum from 550pp to 600pp are awful and are about 3 seconds off the pace on a normal size track

Start listening to the fast guys in your class they will know how to actually make you faster don't listen to the fools 30 seconds behind every race.
If you want help with cars builds from 550pp to 600pp sports or comfort tyres that are actually fast message GBR Winny and I will actually improve your lap times cause I actually know what I'm talking about.

Which is alot worse...but not quite as bad as....
If your not delusional and realise being slow and uncompetitive is not fun give me a message.
You might want to look around, especially in the online racing sub forum, you'll see an increasing popularity for "slow" racing / racers over the past few GT games. It's actually getting very popular, so I don't think all those people are the ones who are deluded.

But, to be honest, I think you're just trolling now anyways.

I dunno, maybe English not your first language, but never has 'put up' or 'shut up' ever been more appropriate than with you. Given the fact you're still able to post here, go buy yourself a lottery ticket, you're luck is certainly in at the moment.

Just came across this post and I'd bet this GBR Winny dude is the same guy with the nickname :- that goes around the lobbies being a complete moron.
If it's not him, then it sure is someone who is equally and weirdly obsessed about mismatched tires or strange setups. You can find him on any 600pp lobby going around beeping and ramming people until he's on the lead.
Now I find this post. What a nut case...

The silly thing about all this is that Winny isn't wrong, but is expressing the point so poorly that no one will ever listen. It is absolutely true that to build a fast car for 500-700pp lobbies, you need to put the right tyres on the car, pop a wing on the back and crank up the rear downforce.

However, I don't think the majority of people on this forum spend much time in 500-700pp lobbies, and a lot of the tunes shared work just fine for singleplayer content. The pp system is whack, you're not a genius if you've figured out how to exploit it for pp restricted lobbies.

Complaining about "stupid people" using mismatched tyres, which don't know how to tune and goes ahead and does exactly the same thing lol.

Obviously he tried to ram me off track whenever I tried to pass him in the same car (no engine swaps 500pp lobby). Seems like his ego couldn't handle it and he rage quit after that and even the host laughed at this guy.

According to him he could hang with the professionals. But more interestingly his GBR Winny account got suspended and he opened this account. I guess that happens when you insult everyone after you get beaten lol
