I've read a few reports saying Ralf was apparently affected by stories in German newspapers in the run up to the Malaysian GP (poor thing  ). I understand the stories have since been retracted.

Does anyone know what these stories were actually alleging?

Got a link to these stories, or are they merely "dirty laundry?"

If it's the latter, I don't care to hear them.

No, I haven't - hence me asking. I suspect they probably are just 'dirty laundry', but they must have been pretty impressive to be put forward as a reason for Ralf being off his game.

I heard that the stories in the German media suggested that Ralf was gay, and his marriage was a sham to hide it.

Apparently he opened a nightclub and the club was either for gay people, or owned by someone who did have gay clubs. Anyway, the stories just ran from there.

Yeah, that was pretty much what was in the UK press. Basically, the story is that Ralf's gay and his wife is having an affair.

Sounds pretty much like petty conjecture.

Gee, the media was never like this when Micheal was just a single 22-year-old living alone with his puppy in Kerpen, Germany. Have times changed that much in 10 years?

I've heard of motor racing tabloids, but this crap about Ralf has been circulating for some time now...he just needs to ignore the media and maybe take a tip or two from Schuey the Elder on handling the media.

Either that, or maybe Eddie Irvine can get him some dating tips.
