I already looked for this on other posts, but i couldn't find it. A week ago, when loading Fuji 2005, the loading speedometer/clock becomes red permenately, no matter how long i wait. Every time I reset it, the red clock would always come back! :grumpy: :grumpy: So i tried cleaning it, using a special cd/dvd cleaner thing, and even adjusting the white tab and cleaning the laser on the PS2. None of it worked. So, i go to Best Buy and exchange my Gran Turismo for a new one in a wild hope, and voila, it works, and it's been working fine so far! :) Anyone know why this is?

I had a feeling something was wrong with Fuji, I never liked the track and won't race it anymore :P

yeah, i agree; that track's given me nuthin but trouble

I've had that but only if I take the disk out. That was only once since I got it.

ive just got this problem
one time it turned red, then turned back to white again, allowing me to continue
the next time i wasnt so lucky; it stayed red
any solutions?

Bum disk. Happens now and then.

That's a possible answer. I had the same loading speedometer problem as dum656 had. The loading speedometer will at first be white then all of a sudden, it turns red. This indicates that the PS2 isn't reading the disc properly because the disc must have some sort of internal problem.

that's really strange; so, basically, it's the problem with the disk, so therefore the PS2 can't read it? Man, PD should really work harder to make it easier for us, you know

The PS2 is having trouble reading your disc. A simple fix for now is to rotate the ps2 a little, eject the disc, should be fine temporarily. Next time you turn off the ps2 polish the disc.....

(sorry to be off topic but...) the best version of fuji was the original before they put all those goddam mongolian turns and 'S' bends that ruin they way the flowing corners collaborate with each other *sigh*.. i reckon they should stop 'improving' the course, coz gradually they just keep getting worse, especially the 2005 one. i mean.. realy, its not much of a race track its too lumpy onto the straight ( although i do like the tar run-off section, much more logical then the sand or kitty litter)
