I am using the PCM 7.1 option, with all 7 of my Klipsch speakers level matched with a Radioshack SPL Meter. All other games and movies sound fine, but in GT5 I have trouble hearing the background music (turned up to 120 already) and also can hardly hear the copilot when on a rally stage (for example the countdown at start from 5). Also, it seems all engine/exhaust sounds come from my rear speakers, and not from the front 3.
Also, there are times when I will smack into a wall and there will be no sound at all.
Should I try the PCM 5.1 option? DD 5.1?
