Strange icons

I have 2 odd icons appearing on my race screen. They are on the top left hand side just below laps and race position. One looks like a set of laurals and the other like an oil drip. Anybody tell me what these mean as I can't find them in the manual. Mind you it would help if I knew what I was looking for.

They measure how damp/wet the track is, giving you an idea of when to change your tyres if you happen to be using slicks. For example, if the track is only 5% wet then you don't need to change the tyres. From around 40%, you may have to change the tyres to be on the safe side.
