Strange line spacing on postings

Hey @Jordan,

I've been noticing some strange line spacing differences when browsing the forums lately. It seems as if the spacing between lines varies greatly between posters and lines withing the post.

Here a small image showing the line spacing. I've added in small spots to show the spacing. Top spot is aligned with the base of the line, the lowest pixel with the top of the taller letters in the line below.

On niky's post I could fit two crosses in between, prisonermonkey's had three spaced crosses in the top line break and two spaced crosses in the lower line break.

I don't find it overly distracting, but it something that caught my attention and I thought I should let you know.

If it might be a browser issue: I'm using FireFox ver 27.0.1

I'm using Chrome, the spacing looks normal to me. But it doesn't look like the picture you've posted. It may or may not be Firefox though.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot; I've never seen that effect before in any of my testing and I don't know would cause it. I see you're in Germany - perhaps some type of language setting is affecting the display of the character set?

I've seen the same on my Firefox on linux machine.
