About 5-10 times in my life now I've woken up with my stomach feeling really tight, twisted and incredibly painful. If left un-attended it causes me to spew up a bit of yellow bile, but I found that I can fix it by eating something which I find all really wierd. It happened to me this morning, and literally after 3 spoonfuls of cereal I was feeling normal again, yellow bile spew avoided! Does anyone know what exactly is happening to me when this happens? Liquids and drinks don't help at all either, it has to be solid food.

Fairly sure a doctors visit should be on your priority list. Anything health related should be brought to a doctor's attention and not a video game forum. Don't take this the wrong way, just trying to give the right advice!

I figure it's not really a health problem if fixed by eating food , just wondered what was happening. Perhaps the stomach acid affects your stomach when there's no food inside?

You might have a gastric or duodenal ulcer, even if you don't you should see a doctor, what you're experiencing is not the actions of a smoothly functioning gastric system, and you're best to have any more serious causes ruled out for peace of mind.

I was also about to suggest it may be an ulcer. Regardless, you need to see your GP.

Yeah, that's a doctor problem. Ulcers included, it could be acid problem, like the acid reflux I have. Mine eventually developed into an unbearable burning sensation that would cause me to get sick. Food never quelled my problem as quickly as yours though, so yours sounds a little bit different.

So go see the doctor and tell him what's up.

Sounds like an ulcer or cholecystitis. Better get to a doctor immediately. Does it feel like you have a knife in your chest? That's the pain my father described before he had his gall bladder removed (which was ready to rupture, btw).

Nope, only the tight gut I described, and it's only happened a few times, first when I was 12, it's very rare.

Edit: I'll ask my doctory anyway, just in case. Dying isn't a big issue, I wouldn't be leaving much in this life anyway, but somebody think of my family.:p

But it'd be a waste of premium...

, I'm sure you'd be able to give it to someone else after the 2sec mourning period of my death.;)

Paulie, it might be gastritis as hugo suggested. I'm dealing with it myself right at the moment and it felt like I was being stabbed in the stomach and intestines for weeks on end. Even with medication you have good & bad days due to the ulcer. It's caused by stress aswell so being a hot head doesn't help. :p

You'll more than likely have to stop eating spicy food and gassy drinks for a while, eat a fair bit of cereals, salads and other healthy foods to get make it easy on your digestion system, no big burgers or pizzas. Also to help, ANY opportunity you get to fart or burp to let out any gas, do it! Yes, you sound repulsive but tell people it's for your health.

Thanks for the push to go see a doctor, she suggested the same as you guys that I should get tested for a gastric ulcer. I now need to go and get a breath test to test for bacteria to see if I have an ulcer. Nothing confirmed yet......
