Street Cars room not setup realistically?

Is it just me or do people use RS tires on EVERYTHING in EVERY ROOM.

I like street car races, I'll join up and see people trying to bring out RM cars and the host goes bats**t crazy on the people, they will usually say "Read the title, it says street cars bro!" or something similar. However, I have yet to enter a street car room where the host allows only more sim appropriate tires only. They will turn off all the driver aids, yet allow RS tires. I'm thinking, these cars are pretty dang close to racing modded anyway because I don't see many cars on the road w/ a stage 3 weight reduction and a stage 3 engine upgrade, and a high RPM turbo w/ custom race prepped suspension. I feel I'm ranting here lol, ok I know I'm ranting, but here is what I'd really like to see..

More rooms for street cars running on SH or SS tires,
and more rooms for streetcar which allow TCS and ASM (since real world cars come with these options nowadays),
and more rooms for streetcar which do not allow modified cars to race.

Come on guys kick the RS habit, yea they are great, yea they provide the best traction, but even in PD's race car seasonals and TT events the best they allow is RH. Give SH and SS tires a chance sometimes, it really makes the 200HP to 450HP cars feel like you are driving the 700HP+ cars on RS and brings the fun back into those cars.
 
That's a great senitment, but the vast majority of drivers in GT5 that race online, do not have the skill level to race on SH to SS tires without aids on and so the rooms aren't popular. I try to get out to the 450pp Street Tuners nights as often as I can.

It's usually quite competitive and clean, when it's run in the host's lounge as opposed to open lobbies, which are usually smash up derbies.

Come check out Legend of the Streets (LotS). We run sports hard tyres, with ASM on and TC on and full damage.

We are located under Online / Clubs and Leagues.
 
I host with street only but sport tires, then have to change it because of all the crying from 80% of the people. You can't please everyone.
 
Forget the DLC petition. I say we start one to eliminate RSs from being used on street cars.

Whats funny is the randoms online using Racing tires are usually slower than a good driver on sport softs.
 
Why do these threads keep popping up complaining about what people want to do in the rooms they start?

There is a simple way to get around this... START YOUR OWN ROOM. Its actually easier than starting a new thread and whining about why people don't do what you want them to in the rooms they started. :rolleyes:
