I dont know all the street cars in the game so are these considered street cars.

nissan gt-r spec v (gt academy version special)

madza rx - 7 spirit r type a (FD) ' 02

i let them both race any way . The only one i really question is the gtr.

what do you reckon

thing is i dont know weather all the cars do have or not have front downforce

Both street cars. The GT-R Academy Version is identical to the one from the dealership, just with a special paint job, and the RX-7 is simply the very last edition of the RX-7 series. If I remember correctly, the description said it had a height adjustable suspension straight from the dealer in real life, but nevertheless it's definitely not a race car.

Can also be derived from the default tyres those cars have, i.e. Sports Hard.

If they were considered tuner cars, they would have Sports Soft, and race cars always have Race Hard per default.

They are as long as you don't do full weight reduction and max out the car. I consider that a racecar, but mild tuning would be a streetcar to me.

Limit things to comfort tires (or sports hards). If they put too much power in the car, then the tires won't handle it.

I think the Nissan GT-R Academy race car is a street car. It is made for racing and has decals.

The RX-7 however is clearly a race car, its road legal and focused on driving on streets.

There are actually slight differences in the academy GTR sprcial and the rrgular SpecV, slight but not much.

Street cars = street legal. All those are street legal :)

Yes, and it basically alludes to all those that aren't intended to be designed for legal competitions included in an entire season of a certain race event, except for the cars which can't be permitted to be driven on a street in a downtown in any way.

Oh you are right, both are the same, both are road cars.

Weight and Power are the same, no front Downforce on the Special GTR
=> it just has Decals period.
=> Street Car

RX-7 is a Street Car it just has a very long name :D

Because it's not possible to wildly improve the performance of a car through modification without it falling into the class of "race car?" Damn those Hennessey guys and their Vipers. Damn them!

noisiaturismo, is that the GT-R Academy Version obtained from golding all "S" license tests? I guess I really do need to move on up to Spec 2.0.

Nope, the black gtr that noisiaturismo put is totally different from what you can obtain from golding all "S" licscene tests.Sorry i don't know how to put image here

They are still street cars, yes. But when you have straight pipe exhaust, chassis stiffening, downforce, and racing soft tires, there isn't much difference between that and a race car.

To be honest I really didn't think they changed it, I was being clever.
