This game is going to kick. You supposedly will be able to see your purchased parts being installed. The physics are realistic, and there is realistic damage as well. You can run from cops, win you rival's car through pink slips, and even win his girlfriend. Some of the cars are the Celica T-S, Skyline GT-R-34, MKIV Supra, Toyota MR-S. It's gonna be a well-rounded racing game.

It's waiting to be released. 3DO is out of $$$. Maybe another Publisher will pick the title up. :)

Judging by the screenshots and a preview video, the cars exhibit realistic weight transfer and accurate physics. I hope someone picks up the game, and releases it to the public :D

So mods to cars that only weigh it down and make them slower are cool? Wouldn't you rather see a car with right type of sideskirts, carbon fiber hood, right type of wing, right type of bodykit, and a rockin' engine and engine mods rather than something with stock engine and an ugly paint job and all the wrong parts?

actually SRS was never going to come out because 3do went bankrupt. But then Namco picked it up and it is said to be released mid next year.

which is kind of frustrating considering 3do set the original release date to June 24, 2003!!

"A number of 3DO's games have been sold to other publishers at a recent bankruptcy auction.

When 3DO filed for bankruptcy on May 28, the future of its upcoming games and long-running franchises was thrown into doubt, but at a bankruptcy auction in San Francisco yesterday, a number of them found new homes. Street Racing Syndicate was bought by Namco for a little over $1.5 million, the rights to the High Heat baseball series went to Microsoft for an undisclosed sum, and the assets of Might and Magic and Heroes of Might and Magic were sold to Ubi Soft for $1.3 million
"

1.5million, geez, i would have bought it :D

It should be a pretty neat game...I'm going to say rental on it though.
