we have been racing for a couple weeks BUT this series i created has been a BLAST and were looking for some new racers to join the fun.
WELCOME TO THE STREET WARRIORS!
one day some buddies of yours were looking for something to do. you came across a flyer for the weeks racing at your local short track. you being a race fan figured "hey, why not?" so you all packed a cooler of beer and soda and headed of for the evening. ther aces were good and your friends thought it was a good show but something inside you said DANG! i really wanna try that some time. after some searching on craigslist and Redneck junk you saw some cars for cheep and bought one.
THIS IS WHERE THE RACING ODDESY BEGINS!
This is the GT5 Street Warriors Championship (Street Warriors for short) The idea of this championship is Lightly Modified cars with an entry level feel.
- There will be a PP limit of no more then 375!
- You must your a different car EACH week once you have used a car its no longer able to be used again for the events. if you use a car twice you will get no points.
- Tires will be Sport HARD or Comfort Soft only! (mix as desired)
- Division open to ALL "MASS produced" American and Import BETWEEN 1982 and 2002 and older. no "MR" drive trains, 4wd, "sponcored cars" or any cars that would be considered "tuned" or "made for racing" style cars, or any RMs ) This falls on the competitor. if someone brings a car that is questionable you will be aloud to race BUT the make and model is subject to "Post race investigation". if car is found to be either a "one of one" a 4WD, you will be DQed and given only 1 "show up" point for the night
- Race FEATURES will be around 35 to 40 minutes in length. Qualifying will be a 2 lap dash to set the grid, during this Dash race points will be awarded to the top 3 (3, 2 and 1 for 1st -3rd). The order for the dash will be set randomly so you may get the pole or may start last. but the feature will be set by REVERSE ORDER results of the dash. the Feature will start within 2 to 3 minutes of the end of the dash. if you feel the need to make changes do so FAST this is not a time to overhaul your set up. you might just be able to make a fast change then Blue up and get ready for the Feature.

* Open compitition to ANY 375 PP car! no points, only prizes... lots of them!! Cars, Helmets, Suits, Parts, Paint for all involved. were going to end the season with a BANG!
Prizes
Winner will get a Car.
2nd will get a random Item (parts)
3rd will get 3 paints
EVERYONE THAT RACES WILL GET ON CAN OF PAINT as a thank you for racing.
Chamption will recieve a race car and a some other surprise
2nd will get a NEW Street car in the area of c150,000
3rd will get a Used car in the area of c30,000
and all competitors who start all races (or at least MOST of the races (70%) will get something from me.
final nuggets
- RACE CLEAN. its racing.. there will be bumping and such but keep it clean as possible
- All assists aloud (this is a FUN league not a SERIOUS league)
- no peneltys but you are expected to stay on course best as possible. feel free to use ALL THE PAVEMENT but passes in the dirt are not aloud. if your "bumped" into the dirt you can continue the pass but if you drive your self off the tarmac you will have to give the spot back ASAP.
- Lap cars must yield position to lead lap cars in a way that does not hinder either drivers progress.
