Stuck in Arkham City

Hi,

I think there's something wrong with my copy of Batman AC:

During the blue demon mission, when you have to alternate between dive bomb and glide to get to the sinking iceberg, I seem to get to the first one with a little trouble. But the second one is just impossible.

I've checked a few walkthroughs including video ones, and I see Batman dive bombing really fast and then gliding while actually gaining a little altitude. Why can't I do this in my game? I dive bomb almost vertically, and Batman gains little speed before starting to glide, and I never gain the lift from it, that I saw in those walkthrough videos.

This is really getting frustrating ATM, can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I can vaguely recall what you are talking about and remember getting stuck for a bit at a part like this. If I recall correctly, you have to press a button (I can't recall which) while you're divebombing to gain more speed and then you'll be able to glide further while gaining altitude.

I haven't played the game in a long while so I apologize if the information isn't correct.

How are you "dive bombing"? Are you pressing forward on the controller? If so, you're doing it wrong. On the ps3 version, you push R2(I think) while gliding to dive bomb. Release R2 and pull back on the stick to gain altitude. Pressing forward on the stick doesn't have the same effect.
