Hej there,
New to SCC. But old to FC. Experiencing difficulty in the Challenge mode. Having completed the Canadian tracks, I went on to the Italian ones (4 of them). But despite gaining more R Pts my RP count remains at 10,020. A total of 12 600 is needed to advance to the next stage/track that is currently unlock. Is it the game gone crazy or what. I have raced at the Rookie to the Legend. Thanks for some advice.

It's a little confusing. Race points don't 'accumulate' if you run the same race more than once. But there are a 'maximum' amount of race points up for grabs. So if for example you won a race with a bronze trophy, one with silver and one with gold, you can go back and run the bronze and silver races again to pick up the 'missing' points in order to advance. But you'll only earn the 'difference' between say, silver and gold.

Unless of course you completed the Canadian tracks with Gold...?

Thanks for responding.

I agree: the RP system is somewhat confusing. I did manage in the end thru much effort to unlock the next track. My approach was what you suggested: achieving better results. By struggling in Legend mode I finally gained the required RPs. What I realised now is that the goal for unlocking the next track will be to reach the mark of 20, 200 RPs. My RPs are 13,200, so I have to gain 7 000 RPs. The events are four (I think). That means I need to obtain on average 1750 RPs, which means racing at the highest level, e.i. Legend stage. If my understanding is correct, the Challenge Mode is tougher than I initially thought!

However, I must say, the challenge is one to relish. And the tracks appear to me to be better than in FC. But thus far I rate FC a better game. The mood or style in the racing seems less aggressive. Whereas in Challenge Mode, at least, the opposition behave in the manner more fitting to stockcar racing or arcade racing, hitting your car every which way! Still, these are early days. I might change my opinion.
