Stuck on page 37 of menu book

This is weird. I have the other 2 cars in the book before getting to that page but I still need the S1 Quattro. The hint told me to pass the event at Fisherman's Ranch but when I completed it they did not award me the car I need to progress. The only other way to pass it is to buy the car from the legends dealership but its not there either.

Why didnt the game award me the car?
 
I think the other two races in that menu book are at Alsace and Sardegna, check those if the S1 is a prizecar for either of them. Iirc it was for the Alsace race, but it's been ages since I did it :D

I completed Sardegna and still didnt win any car because I already had it in my garage so I am stuck on the menu page until I get the S1 (which I was supposed to win at Fishermans but didnt). Also strange is the menu book section at the top is faded and the cafe icon has a red dot on the corner.

Yeah, you've gotta view the book every time to actually start the menu (you've done this every time trust me, you've just forgot)

It's greyed out because you're not assigned a menu at the present time.

LOL I feel like an idiot now. I figured the menu already started because I had 2 cars. For the S1 I just looked at the hint and went there. Thanks guys, I was worried that I discovered some bug at first.
